If you have HEAT ONLY, check your existing thermostat before you buy. If you only have 2 wires, you CANNOT use this without having an electrician ($$$$) either run a new C-Wire to your furnace or using an external AC adapter plug-in. The C-Wire adapter WILL NOT WORK if you have only 2 wires. Also beware if you have zoned heat in your house - if you do, even with the C-Wire adapter, installation is going to require a professional. Honeywell, please come up with a solution here for people with no easy way to adapt for a C-wire. Batteries aren’t that complicated. ... show more

I love the change this thermostat and the extra sensors have made in our heat! One thermostat runs the main floor and basement but the basement was always cold. Now with the sensor, they both stay regulated. The other thermostat runs the top floor and we had a few bedrooms above the garage that were always cold. Now they are much more comfortable! You can run it on your app or alexa, I haven't set up the alexa yet. But I love the ease of the app. ... show more

This system has been a lifesaver! I have a newborn and our old system would constantly go on and get freezing in the rooms…or turn off and get stuffy and hot. Since we got this system and added the temperature control prices for our rooms it has been SOOOOO MUCH BETTER!! I can adjust it from my phone, set the babies room as priority, and have the temperatures adjust based on day and night. This would have been great but my own system (a Carrier system) has an outdoor temperature sensor and also has a Humidistat to control my humidifier for indoor control. Both integrated into my Carrier forced air system. This Honeywell thermostat system would not integrate with either of them. Be sure to carefully check your own system to make sure the Honeywell thermostat can handle anything beyond simple heating and cooling. ... show more

I have a few of smart thermostats in varies locations, from nest, I wanted to give this a shot and I hate it...bad and hard app non user friendly. it is really hard to set up and really hard to control...hate it.

Does a great job of averaging room temperatures and keeping everyone comfortable throughout the house. We use to freeze in the bedrooms and the hallway where the old thermostat would be toasty. Not anymore thanks to the T9! Easy to install and use.
