This lamp is great since it allows for different light temperature and brightness. It also can get bright enough to light up a room so it's plenty powerful. The articulation is not too tight either so you can move it around easily without it sort of "sinking" position.

This lamp arrived packed for survival. It was well packed and nothing was out of place assembly was super easy and only took about two minutes. It comes with a decent length of cord and the base is nice and heavy. From opening the box to turning it on this light screams quality. The adjustable arm lets you place it just where it’s needed for lighting that project you are working on. We have not made a spot for this lamp as it keeps getting moved around to light up this or that that we are working on. My wife does some work with gluing beads on things which is tedious work and this light has helped her out tremendously. I have used it for assembling a model truck I have been tinkering with. This light makes everything so much nicer with the adjustable color and brightness. On and off is touch activated and there is a dimming line built into the stem which is intuitive as you just slide your finger down the line to dim, up to brighten. The remote works well but we have seldom used it as the light has ben right next to us. The way the clear ring center lights both up and down is way cool. This light is pricey but worth every dime in my book as it is a life enhancing product, especially if you are getting older and your eyes aren’t as good as they used to be. This floor lamp is built very well. It goes together very quickly and easily. The lamp poles just slide together, and the electrical contacts are built into the poles. You can change brightness levels and color temps. The changes can also be made via remote control. The remote control has a magnetic back which allows you to stick it to the lamp which is nice as we tend to have a lot of lost remotes. The lamp functions very smoothly in all aspects including movement and adjusting the controls. The base is heavy enough to have the arm extended all the way. The arm rotates and extends in a large vertical and horizontal range. Great for the bedside, desk area, workbench or pretty much anywhere you need more lighting. The lamp produces ambient lighting from the top and more directly lighting underneath. I highly recommend the lamp. I will update my review should anything change. ... show more

I'm really happy with this Honeywell LED floor lamp "F01BK Sunturalux" (wow, what a name) Assembly was a piece of cake, took just a few minutes. The lamp itself is very bright and the light looks so natural. I like the dimming and color changing options - it's perfect for setting the right mood for reading or doing some office work. The construction feels well made. The arm movement is smooth and stays put wherever you adjust it. The only downside is that the lamp defaults to 'off' when you plug it in, so it won't work with a smart switch, also it has touch controls. But there is an included IR remote that can magnetically attach to the base. All in all, this lamp is a winner and will get some use here. I recommend! ... show more

I just assembled the lamp. I was easy to put together. First impressions are pretty positive. Nice materials, good physical height and adjustability. The lamp has a good range of color temperatures. I am using it in a home office, and I prefer a warmer color and brightness varying with task, time of day and outside weather lighting. I hope it works well for the numerous desk and reading tasks that take place in the office. My only wish is that a creamy white light fixture came with a white colored electrical cord/plug. This one came with a black cord/plug. Recommended. Update. Three instead of four stars. This has been assembled an in place and working for about a week. One more nit to pick is that the base is not heavy enough to counterbalance the weight of the upper arms and light lens when they are extended very far from the vertical plane. So, if you want to extend the light lens and of course the arms, the entire fixture begins to look like the leaning tower ...... Hide it behind a chair or sofa and pile so weight on the base to have it loo right. ... show more
