    • Great Lamp- Damaged lower hinge.
It seems the lower hinge is loose (the one just above the base and not to be confused with the chrome hinge on the base). I've ordered two and with both orders the shipping box is crushed around the heavy base of the lamp. Even the Styrofoam inside the box is broken and busted from harsh handling (probably during shipping). Both lamps have a loose bottom hinge that seems to take the damage due to mishandling of the shipment. I love the lamps themselves and will keep them both (I needed two anyway). I would have returned one if there were any significant difference, but I don't want to continue waiting for a better one. No functionality is lost to the lamps, but they wobble at the lower hinge...one of them leans over. Great lamp - bad shipping provider. ... show more

    • Light spectrums don’t change
I thought I read some reviews that the light spectrum could go from daylight to bright light to soft light, but it only adjusts in degrees of brightness, all same spectrum from what I can see. But, the light is cool and of excellent quality.

    • Great desk lamp
The media could not be loaded. I am glad to get this lamp. The lighting is so warm and gentle. My eyes were used to feel tired easily, but feel much better now. I can also easily adjust the angles. Strongly recommend it.

This light is very nice and gives off very warm and bright light. Very easy on the eyes and allows good work flow for long hours.

    • Solid and functional
This is a case of getting what you paid for. Not cheap, but the lamp is heavy, solid, and well-made. It won't win any prizes for beauty but it does what it needs to do. Touch on/off button is good. Long touch to dim or brighten is rather slow and of limited range, but not a big deal.

I was pleasantly surprised to find Honeywell dipping their toes into the world of high end design. I have long been familiar with them as an HVAC related company so unless I'm missing something, luxury lighting is new. I am very impressed with this lamp. The base is heavy, but not so heavy that it's difficult for me to move elsewhere. It has a liner on the bottom so it doesn't scratch my stainless steel desk. Please excuse the mess in the photo, I am still working on arranging things so they fit well on my desk. I am super excited to have this lamp as part of the mix and am now inspired to do better. This lamp is easy to position. The joints are stiff enough to keep it in place, but it is not difficult to move. In case you are not one who reads the directions, this is a TOUCH on/off even though the power button looks like...well, a button. Simply touch it, it comes on. If you want to dim/enhance the light, touch and hold after the lamp is on. It takes a minute to see any changes in the light so don't give up. I really love the temperature of light this thing comes with. Not too cold, not too warm. Juuuuust right (said Goldilocks). This lamp looks great whether on or off. The ring of orange around the edge is a subtle touch that says "Hey! I'm expensive." Ha. And while expensive, this is much less expensive than other high end contemporary lamp options. And it is much sturdier. ... show more

Refreshing to find products like this when everything else is cheap and flimsy from made-up brands like "LingPower" and "TreatLife". It's clear that good effort went into the design and construction of this lamp. Mine is not wobbly at the base as some other reviewers have reported. That being said, this lamp should have adjustable color temperature at this price point. The 4000K bulb is a bit too cool and harsh in the evening even at its dimmest setting. Lost an additional star for the frustrating paper sticker on the base of the lamp (see photo). ... show more
