I ordered this a few weeks ago and have been using it tow to three times a week and I am not disappointed. As an actual golfer, I was skeptical whether this was a toy or something more. I use this on an Oculus Quest 3 with the PGA Golf+ game and it is almost flawless. The addition of the handle with a real golf grip really makes it feel much more like a golf swing, and alllows you to set up and address the ball like you would in real life. I would like it to be a little heavier though to simulate the feel of the clubhead behind you in your backswing, but it is not a deal breaker. It is a little tricky to get lanyard to feed into the hole where it needs to secure to the the attachement, but once you get the hang of it, everything locks down nice and tight. I have zero concerns that the controller will come flying out in my hands, even at full speed swings. It integrates seamlessly into the game, which has it listed in-game so the Quest knows what type of attachement you are using. Fantastic! The kit also replaces the controller battery cover that has a little latch point for the attachment to firmly connect to the controller. This greatly improves in-game realism and allows players to practice indoors when a range or weather is not permitting. Highly recommended if you like golf and want to be able to play during the off-season/indoors.

The bat is good for golf as well as cricket (IB cricket) VR. The grip is good and the mechanism to lock the control in place is the best. However, the length extension mechanism keeps getting loose during gameplay. I almost hit my basement ceiling a few times as it got loose. They should look to make it robust or provide additional locking mechanism.

I’ve been playing Golf+ on my Meta Quest 3, and this attachment takes the experience to another level. The adjustable length makes it easy to set up for my height, and it feels natural when swinging in the game. The counterweight at the end balances the club in a way that mimics a real golf club, so you actually get that satisfying follow-through instead of waving around a light plastic controller. The grip is comfortable and has a textured, sweat-absorbing surface that stays secure even during longer play sessions. I never feel like I’m going to lose my hold mid-swing, and the dual protection system with the locking buckle and safety rope keeps the controller firmly in place. I can focus completely on my shots without worrying about the controller flying across the room. The 80-degree tracking design really does help keep the Quest’s sensors in line, and I haven’t noticed any tracking dropouts or jitter. Even when doing more exaggerated swings or chip shots in Golf+, the response is smooth and accurate. The button layout is still easy to reach, so I can navigate menus or adjust my stance in-game without taking the club apart. If you play Golf+ or other VR golf games on the Meta Quest 3 or 3S, this is worth picking up. It makes the game feel more immersive and realistic, and the build quality feels like it will last a long time. It is a solid upgrade that makes every round in VR feel closer to the real thing. I got to try this out on the Walkabout mini golf game. It was crooked on the game, but I just have to find the adjustment in the game. Despite being crooked, it worked out well. It took a minute to figure out how to install it on the controller, but it was easy to use once it was one. The controller felt very secure. It did not work with the controller that had the rechargeable battery, that came with the Meta branded charging dock. The locking mechanism would not fully close. The rechargeable batteries provided with the Meta branded charging dock have a plastic piece around them. No idea why, but it blocks the locking mechanism. I will not deduct a star for that, but I would recommend they confirm that on the seller’s end and update the product description to reduce the amount of returns. My controllers have standard batteries and the golf club attachment worked just fine. I was pleasantly surprised that the pole part of the golf club was metal. That and the grip made it feel like a real golf club. It had a good weight to it, like a real mini golf club. I am looking forward to playing with this more. It is a decent value for the money. I do recommend this attachment.

This club takes VR golf to a whole new level. Anyone who’s played with just the controllers knows there’s something missing and it hinders the experience. What’s missing is an actual club that allows you to swing like you would out on the course. That’s exactly what this was meant to solve and it does so wonderfully. The build quality of the club is awesome, rivaling some of the real clubs in my golf bag. The real club grip is a great touch that adds to the realism. The carbon shaft is light and strong, with no worries of it breaking. It’s adjustable in length, allowing you to find the perfect balance that feels like your real club swing. The controller clamp was well thought out and I have no worries of launching my controller across the room once locked in. Just install the included battery door, feed the lanyard through the hole, close the latch and twist the lanyard spooler until it’s tight. Takes less than a minute from start to finish. When playing a game with the club, you will initially need to calibrate each game for use with the club. Otherwise it will see the controller as where your hand is. This is pretty straight forward and most games have included presets for this exact club in its shortest configuration. If you lengthen the club though, you will have to adjust these parameters. Once everything is fully setup, you’ll be able to golf just like you do on the course. In my case that means every shot goes directly to the right, into the next fairway. Incredible realism!
