When I realized working from home is going to continue I emailed my colleague who does our office supply ordering to find out brand/model of my chair at work that I love so much, she told me and I searched on line for it, I found this one which was expensive but still reasonable and thought about it, then I went to a local office supply store to try out chairs and the only one I quasi felt was comfortable was $50 more than this one, so I went home and ordered it as an early holiday gift for myself. It arrived quicker than expected, and we had no problems assembling it. I’m beyond satisfied with this chair, it’s identical to the one at work but for less $ and arm adjustments and lumbar support are great! The seat cushion to is very comfortable even when I work 8-10 hour days. Very glad I finally have a comfortable home office chair, again might be pricey but worth every penny as it is well made and durable, should last me a long while! ... show more

The elevation adjustment cylinder of my 35 year old Steelcase Office Chair developed a slow leak requiring raising the seat every couple of days. My wife asked what I wanted for Christmas... Well, the answer was obvious! Did some research and discovered the HON Ignition 2.0 Office Chair which has great reviews. Arrived on time, minimal assembly and WOW! It is a solid and comfortable Office Chair! Arm Rest adjustment takes a little getting use to, however a Great value for the price! Let's see if it last as long as my old one... ... show more

Ive been using it for about 8 hours and I'm very glad I kept the box because it's being returned. Lumbar "support" is a plastic bar, with sharp edges, that will painfully dig into your back (there'sa whole q&a section on how to rip it off). Same features as chairs in the $200 range and, other than being heavy, there's nothing about the construction or materials that seems high-quality. Speaking to the low quality materials and construction, the back rest makes an annoying click every time I lean back. ... show more

Uncomfortable...back and knee issues. Not the same quality as the HON I purchased at an office supply store 10+ years ago) When I purchased this chair I thought it was the same kind/quality as the HON at my office; however, this HON office chair is very uncomfortable, less stable, less durable (fabric is already coming apart after 6 months)...anything beyond about 10 minutes of sitting leads to lower back and knee pain. I have tried a variety of settings/foot rests, etc and the problem is the chair. Very much a waste of $450. ... show more

Just bought this chair for COVID WFH. Definitely pricier than alternatives but I love it. I plan on keeping it for as long as I can. Took only a few minutes to set up. It's quite comfortable for me ( big frame 6'1" 240lbs). Seat is firm yet comfortable and back support is good too. It doesn't lean back much but it's adequate for moving around while sitting. Overall fairly comfortable at 5'10", athletic build. Several nice adjustments including my favorite the seat slide. It really makes a difference to be able to support your entire femur. I also like that the back has a tension adjustment. That said, the quality is just ok. the box came smashed and there was some cosmetic damage to one of the arms. After using it for a week I notice a small wobble from side to side of the seat and one of the arms wobbles more than the other. I can compare this to a Herman Miller Sayl which is 2x price but doesn't have these defects. I will say that these issues don't really make a difference while sitting and working so would recommend this chair for its price point. Installation instructions were easy enough to follow but I don't understand why they don't provide an adjustment manual. The chair back locks and I had to call support to learn how to unlock it. I thought it was broken (turns out the lever on the right pulls out/pushes in). ... show more

This chair has a lot going for it. Seat depth adjustability is great, and the tilt is very comfortable. However there's two things that after assembly I realized make this chair not work for me: 1. The seat cushion is rock hard. I can't believe such a well made chair has such a terrible cushion. It gave me hip pain. 2. I am rather short, 5'1.5", and while all the reviews and Wirecutter info said yes this is ok for short folks, I still cannot put my feet flat on the floor in shoes at the lowest hight level.
