These chairs are a steal for this price! They are exactly as described with good cushioning, the color was as expected and they are easy to put together. Just need a little muscle to make sure the bolts are tight. We don’t use them every day so not sure how they would hold up under heavy usage, but for the price, I wouldn’t cry if they had to be replaced in a couple of years. ... show more

For the price, these are nice chairs. They feel sturdy. I only wanted/needed one but, they came in a set so, that’s what I got! Anyway, I’m using one as a desk chair. It fits under my desk perfectly (from the floor to the bottom of my desk is 23” and from side to side it is 19”). The back is slightly rounded (I saw a few people ask this so, figured I’d put it in my review). The bottom of the legs have small plastic cap type things that can screw in/out as needed in case of uneven legs and to protect the floor. However, they do feel, well, plastic. They are not rubber. So, I will likely purchase additional caps to put on the bottom just to ensure I don’t scratch up my floors. The material is similar to a canvas feel. It isn’t itchy, though, which I was concerned about (since I’m using mine as a desk chair). The cushion on the seat is more plush than I expected. I wouldn’t say the chair is ergonomic but, there is slight lumbar support which, I wasn’t expecting so, that was a nice surprise. I will likely still get a cushion of some sort to help with comfort since I’ll be sitting in this chair for hours a day while working from home. The color of the chairs I purchased look the same as what was shown on the website. The flowers are a mix of cream, dark blue and a bit of an egg blue. The background is a cream color but it looks “vintage” to me in the sense that there are slight “flecks” of brown in the thread (see attached picture). It’s really nice looking and decent quality from what I can tell so far (they just delivered 4 days ago and this is my first day using them with my desk). Now, for putting them together... it didn’t take me more than 20ish minutes per chair. However, the biggest issue I had was getting the bolts/screws to line up with the chair legs and chair back through the bottom of the chair. There was a fair amount of wiggling and moving around I had to do to get them in. Unfortunately, it’s difficult (nearly impossible) to see the actual holes on the chair legs when you are actually installing the bolts. Everything fit with some sight shifting so, if you find it difficult to get the bolts in, dear not, you just need to wiggle (yes, that’s the technical term) stuff a bit. I do like that each chair came with a small red bag of its own. So, I didn’t have to try to organize one entire bag of all nuts/bolts to separate for each chair. Each bag also comes with that little L-shaped tool thing (yet another technical term, you’re welcome). So, when my son (okay, it was me) lost that little took after putting together the first chair, I had another one in the second little bag! Yay! All-in-all, installation was pretty easy. Chairs feel solid. There is no wiggle. There originally was some wiggle in the first chair... that’s how I figured out those little plastic caps screw in more if needed! Haha! I purchased these two chairs to replace two very hard ladder back wooden chairs used with my dining room table. I was pleased to find these chairs - with such high reviews - at a price point that would not bankrupt me. The previous wooden chairs are not comfortable to sit on for an extended period of time. Pretty much through a meal and my tailbone and back would start to hurt. These new chairs are nice. Very easy to put together. Seem very sturdy. However, neither chair is "level" and both of them wobble against the floor when you rock back and forth in the chair. I am 5'9" and 180 pounds. Not an excessively large person. When I sit on these chairs, my thighs can "feel" the edges of the seat. My tailbone and my back did not hurt by the end of the meal, but I don't see myself sitting in these for an extended amount of time. For example, we enjoy sitting at the dining room table to play board games, dice, cards, etc. I don't think this chair would allow me to sit more than an hour. My elderly Mother lives with me - she is 5'3" and 150 pounds and says these chairs are fine for her. So I am going to wheel my office chair out to the dining room whenever we play our board games. I carefully read the measurements of these chairs prior to purchase. So I am not blaming these chairs for a lack of awareness. I simply need to be more cognizant of the way products are presented on Amazon and measure multiple times. I am not sure if the other positive reviewers are simply using these chairs for "looks" to make their dining room look pretty or fancy, but I guess dining room chairs are like pillows, cars and everything else: no one magic product for everyone. While assembling these chairs, the process caused me to feel these are very sturdy chairs. I still feel these are more for "show" than for daily use, but so many other reviewers say they like them. ... show more
