For the price, these are nice chairs. They feel sturdy. I only wanted/needed one but, they came in a set so, that’s what I got! Anyway, I’m using one as a desk chair. It fits under my desk perfectly (from the floor to the bottom of my desk is 23” and from side to side it is 19”). The back is slightly rounded (I saw a few people ask this so, figured I’d put it in my review). The bottom of the legs have small plastic cap type things that can screw in/out as needed in case of uneven legs and to protect the floor. However, they do feel, well, plastic. They are not rubber. So, I will likely purchase additional caps to put on the bottom just to ensure I don’t scratch up my floors. The material is similar to a canvas feel. It isn’t itchy, though, which I was concerned about (since I’m using mine as a desk chair). The cushion on the seat is more plush than I expected. I wouldn’t say the chair is ergonomic but, there is slight lumbar support which, I wasn’t expecting so, that was a nice surprise. I will likely still get a cushion of some sort to help with comfort since I’ll be sitting in this chair for hours a day while working from home. The color of the chairs I purchased look the same as what was shown on the website. The flowers are a mix of cream, dark blue and a bit of an egg blue. The background is a cream color but it looks “vintage” to me in the sense that there are slight “flecks” of brown in the thread (see attached picture). It’s really nice looking and decent quality from what I can tell so far (they just delivered 4 days ago and this is my first day using them with my desk). Now, for putting them together... it didn’t take me more than 20ish minutes per chair. However, the biggest issue I had was getting the bolts/screws to line up with the chair legs and chair back through the bottom of the chair. There was a fair amount of wiggling and moving around I had to do to get them in. Unfortunately, it’s difficult (nearly impossible) to see the actual holes on the chair legs when you are actually installing the bolts. Everything fit with some sight shifting so, if you find it difficult to get the bolts in, dear not, you just need to wiggle (yes, that’s the technical term) stuff a bit. I do like that each chair came with a small red bag of its own. So, I didn’t have to try to organize one entire bag of all nuts/bolts to separate for each chair. Each bag also comes with that little L-shaped tool thing (yet another technical term, you’re welcome). So, when my son (okay, it was me) lost that little took after putting together the first chair, I had another one in the second little bag! Yay! All-in-all, installation was pretty easy. Chairs feel solid. There is no wiggle. There originally was some wiggle in the first chair... that’s how I figured out those little plastic caps screw in more if needed! Haha! I bought a set of two chairs for the purpose of using in my kitchen. They are stunning and I love the pop it gives to my colors. I love them so much that I chose to use them in the dining room and get rid of the six I had in the dining room and buy two sets of two each more or a total of six Dining Room Chairs.. Bought 3 sets of these chairs to match an existing dining room table in the navy upholstery with brown legs and they are perfect, beautiful and so comfortable. Assembling them was a little painstaking, but my advice would be not to tighten the bolts down. Keep it all loose until fully assembling the legs and the back to the seat. I bought five sets after the first set had scratches on the velour upholstery. I returned one set while keeping four. Some of the boxes were a little roughed up, however the chairs were in good condition, except for the aforementioned scratches. Assembly was pretty easy with good instructions and nuts, bolts and allen wrench were just enough to do the job. These chairs are not very expensive, hence my apprehension regarding the velour upholstery. Now for the wobble issue: This “User Assembled” chair suffers from a wobble caused by the legs not being exactly even in length. It comes with adjustable feet that can be screwed in or out. However, the bolt is very loose in the nut and may be susceptible to eventual movement. I could have just used JB Weld to make it permanent, but I felt there may be need for some further adjustment at a later time. As a result, I installed flat washers to remove any wobble. I then added lock washers to make sure that the bolt does not move. The other issue is that the adjustable foot has some sort of polyethylene pad that would probably wear out quickly. I purchased ¾ inch adhesive leg pads from HD, but quickly found that the pads would come off very quickly when the chairs were moved. To remedy this I glued the felt chair pad to the foot. I could have used a two-part plastic glue, but used some Original Gorilla glue; not their super glue. This worked very well as the glue expands as it cures and, therefore, provided even coverage between the foot ridges. Any excess glue can later be removed by a razor blade. Thereafter, the legs did not wobble and the pads provided for smooth and safe movement of the chairs on stone or wood floors.
