While unfortunately this didn't work out for my puppy that can and will chew through fallen tree branches, rocks, and probably his own leg if he was bored enough, the seller was WONDERFUL, and true to his word about replacing or refunding purchase price. I wish my pup knew what a good thing he had, because I think the product itself was wonderful. Very nice for Doggies. I have an old Dog with arthritis and the Michigan winters are getting hard on him. I keep it on low and he goes on and off it during the night. He uses it for a while and then goes to guard the front door till he gets cold and comes back to the pad. He was suspicious at first but warmed up to it. No pun intended! ... show more

I got this product mid September. It is now the end of October and wires are already exposed. This heating pad was used on a pet bed, for a senior cat, and covered with a small fuzzy blanket. It was never moved, chewed, or clawed on. I was moving to bed and cleaning the cover blanket when i discovered that these wires are now exposed. It is now in the trash because I’m afraid it could potentially be a hazard now. ... show more

My 12yo cat is in heated heaven with this pad. I saw her shivering as the weather started to get colder and my heart broke just a little and I immediately ordered this pad. A family member gave me a heated bed that she had taken the heating pad out of so it was now just a bed with a pocket. Lola was already a big fan of that bed so I put this heating pad in the empty pocket and it works great. Before I thought to put the pad in the old bed, she was sleeping just on the pad and she would smell like plastic from it. She still loved it but I wasn’t a fan of the smell. But since I put it up in this bed, I can’t smell it anymore. Either the extra padding did the trick or the smell just finally went away. As long as she’s happy, I’m happy! Edit : turned out it was just the bed covering the plastic smell and eventually it permeated through the bedding and I could smell it on her. I opened the bed and the plastic smell was overpowering. Even after a couple years of use! I ended up ditching this heating pad and bought her a different one that didn’t smell at all. ... show more

Our lab sleeps with us in our king-sized bed. But we were taking him on a camping trip where we would be on a queen-sized air mattress on which he would not fit with us. I bought this heated dog pad for him to sleep on it. It got right on it and slept the whole night in coziness. The next night when we went to bed, I didn't even have to tell him to get on it; he went right to it. My only suggestion would be to make a slip-off cloth cover for it similar to a cover you find for a human heating pad. I put a thin towel on it for him and plan to make a washable slip-off cover. This is AWESOME, we have had extremely cold weather and a Bloodhound who absolutely refuses to come inside, so we hoped this would be the ticket and he LOVES is. We also have a Lab that is getting older and it is helping with her aging joints. Thank you so very much. This is a lifesaver.

This seems very well made, safe with the wiring and stitching. The heating is strong on high, barely noticeable on low. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the cats don’t like the material that much. It’s a smooth material that is noisy if you wipe it with your hand. My cats prefer snuggly fluffy blankets, so I have to add another layer on top of the pad. Overall I really like it, if there was a way to have a soft ul approved cover for it, it would be amazing! ... show more
