The prices we found were exorbitant. We hit at least five stores and gave up. I told my husband we should try Amazon, and we did. I looked at several towers and we chose this one. For the price we weren't expecting a whole lot compared to the ones we had already looked at that were twice as much. When the box arrived I was surprised at how heavy it was. I had to drag it across the floor. My husband wasn't home at the time, so I thought I could at least take the box apart. Every part is distinctly marked. No way will you get them mixed up with one another. I laid them all out around me and then started to read the instructions. While other people said the instructions were clear, I thought some of them were not easy to follow. However, I did get two levels finished before my husband got home. Of course, I had Queen Maggie supervising, so that was a great help. She would point out pieces by sitting on them for me. Sometimes she got them right, but most of the time she was wrong. She seemed to go for the softest pieces. I want to stop here to let you know - the pieces we were putting together were heavy. They are not thin boards we are talking about - but sturdy, heavy duty boards. We usually used at least four screws for every piece that was attached. So we were building a piece of furniture that was going to last, and that I was not afraid of letting our cat jump on and off of. The material they used to cover the wood was very nice and soft. Each piece that was exposed to the cat was covered. This was a well thought out tower, so every place that had a screw was covered so that your cat would not find it. Every layer of the tower was centered - so all of the weight would be the same - centered. The were three condos that we added, and above the third level there is a circle hammock and a flat ledge. If you look at the picture you will see scratching posts with natural sisal ropes. I wanted to draw your attention to them to tell you that each of the condos have something that looks very similar to those, but they are totally covered in fabric in each corner on the inside to make them sturdy. The condo on the fourth level actually has five inside it because it has a different shape. That is how sturdy this tower is. When you get towards the top, your cat will have three perches to sit on - one is a little higher than the other two. Each of these perches has extra padding so your cat is comfortable. Now - I would like to say here that - our Queen Maggie isn't quite used to her tower yet. I noticed last night after the lights were out that she was exploring up to the fourth tower. She didn't think I was watching. She actually went out on a limb and sat in the circle hammock. I really wanted to get a picture, but it was dark. I think after a few more days, she is going to really love it. I really can't tell you, unless you have looked elsewhere, what a great deal this is. We looked at some towers that were just straight up and down with a couple of perches and nothing else that were twice as much as this one. This is very nicely made, has so many extras that we didn't see on any other towers. We both loved the price, love the tower and would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a tower for their furr baby. I forgot to tell you that there are three balls for entertainment AND they give you two extra. You also get extra screws. Please really consider this for your baby. I am positive that you will not regret it.

My cats love this tree. They're of varying sizes (up to 20 lbs) and they all fit in the different spaces. The pouch hanging off the side is supporting everyone who has used it, but it does start to tilt down with the heavier cats. I'm not surprised though. They're chonks. The houses and perches are wonderful and everyone fits comfortably in them. (the picture of the bottom is 35 lbs of cat between the 2 of them, so that kinda shows you how large the base is and they fit in the boxes comfortably as well) The base is slightly uneven/warped possibly, but it is still sturdy. The cats run and jump on it and play on it and it doesn't budge. The height is perfect. It sits about two and a half feet below the ceiling and the top tiers still fit in the window so everyone can look out. Nothing has broken or needed replaced. The scratching posts have decent wear already but are mostly intact after a few months already. It is very easy to clean with the vacuum extender. Assembly was relatively easy. Lining things up was the hardest part and that wasn't terrible, just needed some patience. The only thing I would change is having some peepholes in the sides/back of the boxes so they can look out, but it's designed for corners so the design does work for that. I just chose to put mine in the window instead.

I suffer from a common affliction of cat daddery. My three little tricksters are fun, kind and loving so I wanted to do something for them for all that they have given me. 😂 A friend of mine got a cat tree for her rescues. I went online and bought this for my little lay-about rescues. A little nervous but I like Amazon’s return policy. I’ve seen very very flimsy cat trees in the past. This is not one of those trees. It is very sturdy. I agree with the other reviews it is not super simple to put together. But not overly complicated either. Just follow the directions and they are intuitive. I agree about an hour with two people a couple for one. Oh, the glory! The curiosity while I was putting it together was comical. When I put it in their spot the fun began! This tree has height, which is very good for felines. of three dimensions for travel and security. There are plenty of hidey holes and scratching posts that should give your furniture a break. I very very highly recommend this product, for the price especially. Edit: it has been a few days since my little layabouts received my gift for my awesomeness of basking in their benign overlordship. On the recommendation of Mr. Galaxy. (those who know, know) I always try to keep high, I mean height, in my house. But after repair work burn-out, it was the mantle and high beds. Now with this height of this cat tree for my three, I have really noticed a more fun and outgoing aspect of their personalities developing. Great product! Disabled vet on a limited income, so next step after this save up! a litter robot! 😂 anything for these kits! They really do get you out of the dark places. Edit: beware… The girls never leave the tree and have found their own little stands. They are so comfortable on their queen pedestals. I have definitely noticed a big difference in their personalities. They’re more relaxed… They feel safer when they’re on high if anyone comes in or another animal comes into the house. Very very very good buy.

The tower was easy to put together, and the ledges were larger than I anticipated (I was hesitant because they looked very thin in the images). We have a chunky cat (not shown), big cat (black cat) and a small cat (tabby mix). All of them have found their areas so far! The package came neatly packed and instructions were super easy to follow, with a couple extra screws just in case we lost some. The test of time will tell the true quality of the material, but on first impression it is well put together and designed. The cats love it, and they can all play/ navigate it fairly easily. The material is soft, clean and structire is sturdier than our previous tower. It fits snuggly in the corner, so it is great for our apartment while maximizing play space. All in all, a nice cat tower and I would definitely buy again!

The dimensions advertised are accurate. It fit the spot I wanted it to by going off of them. It’s tall without being too wide. It’s stable without using the anchor. Super easy to put together, took maybe 30 minutes. Instructions were easy to follow. We chose this one because of its compact footprint while still being large and because the larger 3rd story makes it so we can put food and water up high enough for the cat to get to it and the dog can’t. Plus, the price was great compared to the local pet stores who are charging triple for a tree this size and quality.

I call this my cat’s mansion. Be prepared to put something the size of a large Christmas tree wherever this cat tree will go. It was much bigger than we anticipated, even though we measured before purchasing. The cats love it, but we did end up having to give away one of our end tables so that we can put it in the corner by the window. It is huge. My kittens are about seven months old and between 5 and 8 pounds and they have plenty of room in this thing. I think that this could easily accommodate a cat double or triple their size. The only thing is, since it’s so tall, it does tip a little bit or wobble when the cats jump onto it, which doesn’t bother my cats butt might bother some others. it does come with a little attachment so that you can anchor the cat tree to the wall, but we haven’t done that yet. It may help with the wobbling. EDIT: it is still holding up fine, but some of the beds on the top have become wobbly with so much use. Some of the walls inside of the little houses have also started collecting holes because my cats like to scratch at them. Still, I think this will last for at least a couple years.

Our cat absolutely loves this tree. We have had it for a couple of months now because I wanted to really be able to give honest feedback but it is an all around winner! We only have one cat but even if you have multiple cats this tree has so much room and so many different houses to hide and play in that it would be perfect. Every level has multiple scratching posts which has been a life saver for other furniture. It comes with toys to hang from the top three tiers and a couple of extras to replace them when needed. It is super sturdy, our cat literally runs up and down it over and over and it doesn’t tip or sway at all even without being anchored into the wall.

Our old cat tree was falling apart, you can see it in the back. My husband put this new tree together in less than an hour! Half way through building, a few of our cats could not wait to try it out. Once done, all 7 cats were either on the perch or in the little houses in between the different levels. You can even make the box it came in into a house, which is found in the directions. Love the fact you can put it in the corner or in front of a window. And the bedding on the perch makes enough room for a 18 pound cat! It also came sooner than expected! The price was great! And the ease of building it, even better!
