Have this lamp a few months now with no problem's at all. It's modern looking with a nice beige shade color. The diffuser helps soften the lights with no glare. Was well packaged and easy to install. We needed to replace the ancient swag light (from 1973) in my son’s room. He’s 15 and assembled/installed the light with minimal assistance. If the previous light’s hooks hadn’t broken and gotten stuck in the ceiling, he wouldn’t have needed help at all. He likes how it looks and I like the value.

We've had the 16" swag plug-in light up for six weeks now and are happy with it. The instructions caused some head-scratching, but after looking at the parts for a while it was easy enough to figure out. I don't know why but the light comes with two rods; the shorter one is the one you need. The lamp looks just like the image in the listing. We used two bright 1600-lumen LED bulbs with a standard base. Nice and bright. The cord switch is at a good height. ... show more

I used this to replace a 20+ year old single overhead light bulb swag in a guest bedroom and it was very easy to install. The diffuser fits in the middle of the shade but the shade isn't quite the exact shape, leaving a few edges where they don't meet. However, you cannot see this when installed overhead.
