We got this trash can a week ago. It is a lot larger than I thought it would be so one star off for being good for small spaces. (Although I should have looked at the dimensions better.) The stainless steel does not smudge one bit. The pedal works well and is smooth and quiet. We realized we have quite a few large items for recyclables so are using the large container for recyclables and the smaller one for trash. We have been putting trash and recyclables in the bins for a week and it's just now ready to take out. Mind you, there are two people living here (and two cats). It doesn't smell. Before we got this trash can, we were taking trash out in plastic bags (biodegradable, but still) almost every day. I do wish they offered biodegradable bags but will use the ones that came with it and then look for other bags. If you need a real space saver I wouldn't get this trash bin but it fits in our kitchen all right. ... show more

    • One of the few slim structured trashcans
We got this for a deep narrow space next to a counter. Not sure why there aren't more like this. We use the blue bin for trash since it is smaller and we always have more recycling than trash. A little pricey but its worked out. I would just like to see trashcans that handle the true volumes of trash to recycling to compost that we see in the San Francisco bay area. It doesn't seem like that's a design anyone has figured out yet. ... show more

The recycling compartment is small so you will likely need to empty it pretty often. But it works well if you want a low profile can with two compartments. It’s heavy duty and looks nice. It comes with trash bags and they have a very nice scent.

For a small kitchen and apartment it feel pretty huge. But I like that it has the recycle and garbage options so I’m keeping it! The garbage bags smells sooo good! Never in my life did I ever think I would get excited about a garbage can but this is beautiful ! Smaller side for recycle, larger for garbage but you can do it any way you wish Looks great in my new kitchen with my stainless steel appliances. Lid works great! I highly recommend!

Carefully packaged, ready to use. Great design with both buckets easily removable, cleanable, and can put bags in if you want. I particularly like the way bags secure. I am using cheap bags from local retailer and they work well. Don't HAVE to purchase the bags marked for this can, although they also are very nice. Seems well made I expect will last for years. Nice looking. Stainless steel look is upscale. Good size. Works well but arrived with dent in front which was obvious and 😞 very disappointing. Seemed well packed and packing was not damaged but trashbin was damaged. This was an expensive bin that I expected to arrive without dents.
