My husband uses this at his desk for computer games. The foam is still holding up decently for the time he has spent in it, hasn't broken down a ton. The armrests not being adjustable, they get in the way sometimes depending on what height you have your seat at and if you want to push your chair under the desk. We actually removed the armrests completely because they were in the way. He rests his arms on the desk more so that was fine for us. The quality is definitely not top notch but for the price window this chair is in, it's a decent chair for occasional use

We got this chair to replace my sons gaming chair as the fake leather had started to wear through and tear. This chair was very easy to assemble, if you've ever put one together before, it doesn't take very much effort and it's pretty straight forward. Directions seemed logical and easy to follow. The chair is comfortable, absolutely. Now it's no $500 chair, but for the price, it's very comfortable. The caster wheels are smooth and roll with ease. As far as build quality, the chair seems sturdy, the fabric is plush and soft, and the cushioning is firm yet giving. My only complaint, is the paint on the arm frames has several runs in it, which is not the worst thing in the world, but they are noticeable. All in all, the chair is worth the money, and I would definitely recommend it for the teenage gamer.

this is a tad difficult to review. there are some things that i like about the chair, and some things that i don't. first off the installation was fairly easy. standard, if you've ever put an office chair together before. the material of the chair seems decent enough. it's easy to clean up if your kid happens to spill their juice all over it... i also like that the back of the chair is adjustable. and it stays where you adjust it to. my old chair you could lean back in it, but you had to physically keep it pushed back the whole time. i like that i can angle this back to where i need it at any given time. it easily adjusts up and down with the lever on the right hand side. now to comfort. it takes some getting used to. at first i'll say honestly i hated sitting in this chair. and i was about to toss it on the road for free. it takes a loooooong time to break this chair in to where it's comfortable. first off the sides of the seat hit your thighs weird. unless of course you are the size of a stick, and then i'm sure this would be fine right out of the box. but for those of us who have a bit of junk in our trunks, it can be rather uncomfortable to sit in, until you break the chair in enough. the headrest on the back of the chair to me is useless. i'm apparently too short to be able to use it properly. and i hate the lumbar support pillow that comes with this as well. it does nothing, except make me sit weird and be even more uncomfortable. i'm really glad that it is removeable. overall, this chair is decent. i'm not sure i'd ever pay this price again for this chair. but for the most part i'm starting to not hate it like i did when i first got it. so if you are taller than 5'4", and not overly chubby, and you have the patience to break in this chair, go for it.

Sturdy & heavy chair. Both of my sons have desks in their rooms, but were using spare chairs. Finally got him this comfortable chair for his desk. He has his gaming computer set up in his room. It took him & I about 15 minutes to put it together. You only need provided Allen wrench for assembly. You can do the bottom of the chair by yourself, but it was definitely easier to attach the back & arms with 2 people. We started without the instructions, as they were buried in the packaging, so I missed 1 of the three cups that go over the base part. We couldn’t get it apart again to add the third, but as it is mostly for cosmetic reasons, think we can live with that, as it was our mistake. While instructions are provided, it is all pretty straightforward, with the exception of the cups that go over the the connecting bar to the base. If we had read the instructions, we would of gotten it right. I mean we did minus one anyway. The height mechanism works really well. The back tilt knob is a little tight, but not sure he will even use that part. Thankfully it is in a comfortable position. Probably just needs a strong twist to get it going. Cushions are designed well & provide a good ergonomic fit. It’s a seat that would be comfortable for hours of sitting. It is nice looking too. Black & red color combination gives it a cool look. Very comfortable chair that feels like good quality. We would definitely recommend.

This chair is larger than expected and also very comfortable. I had tried other chairs like this in the past and was very disappointed with cheap uncomfortable frames and foam. The size of this chair is great for me, I am a larger guy and most chairs remind me of that. This one doesnt. It is very comfortable and I am happy to recommend it.

First of all, I think someone has changed this listing for a different office chair from the one I am reviewing. The current listing shows to be for a basic black office chair. The one I am reviewing is a red and black gaming chair. This chair is fairly easy to assemble. It has a nice padded back in seat. It is made of fake leather, also called “pleather”. This makes it easy to wipe clean. The arms raise and lower, which is nice. Though it does not have much lumbar support. Made in China.
