Description

The RAM single swing arm mount consists of a 6" long BENT swing arm mounted on a horizontal surface mounting base. At the device mounting end of the mount is a rectangular 6.25" x 2" plate. There are two (2) pivoting points on the mount. One at the swing arm and base and one at the center of the rectangular plate and the end of the swing arm. Each pivoting point allows a complete 360 degree rotation.

I installed this on a 2002 Tracker. I put this mount in the same place the old humminbird mount was, right by the cup holder. I was installing a new humminbird Helix 10 and this mount works great. It places the graph in the perfect position and the mount seems very sturdy.

Excellent. Absolutely excellent. Holds my HDS 9 Gen 3 very solidly yet allows for easy, smooth adjustments. This thing is surprisingly well built, especially at its price point. The holes even lined up with the factory gimbal so I didn’t need to drill any more. The perfect console mount for a bass boat. Only con for me is the lack of a cable management option. I’d give 4.5 stars if I could for that reason, but didn’t feel it was enough of an issue to dock a full star. I ended up buying a 1 inch thick chunk of HDPE (Starboard) from that big auction site, cutting it to size, routing the edges for a finished look, then cutting a channel into it with a router. From there I had a base for cable management and a base to which the RAM mount is screwed down. For those wondering about what hardware to use to screw down the mount, I found that #12 x 1 inch stainless sheet metal screws (x4) hold it down nicely if -a nut-and-bolt combo isn’t an option in your setup. If you’re not familiar, don’t be put off by the “sheet metal” distinction. they have very coarse threads that bite well and don’t let loose easily. Clearly this is needed for sheet metal applications, but it works very well in wood, fiberglass, and even plastic as with my setup. The added advantage for me was that these screws weren’t so long as to go completely through the homemade cable manager I mentioned above. ... show more

This marine Ram Mount is a single 6” swing arm with a predrilled 6.25” x 2” x 3/16” rectangular mounting plate to attach your chart plotter/fish finder. This model 109H has a horizontal mounting base to attach to your boat. I used it to mount my Garmin 73sv and the predrilled holes lined up perfectly. The Ram Mount is heavy duty made from cast aluminum with a black matte baked on finish. The arm has two pivot points that can be rotated 360 degrees each. Each pivot point is controlled with a large knob that is easy to grasp and turn to loosen or tighten without any effort at all. When tightened in the position you desire the arm is securely locked and will not move even on very rough water. The unit does not come with any mounting screws which I do not consider a drawback because they do not know what you are attaching too. This thing is hefty! It has a good weight to it and it is incredibly well built and sturdy. Unfortunately for me, and maybe this will help others out there, the predrilled holes will not fit a Humminbird Helix 7. I have the G3N and the holes do not meet up. There are also zero hardware included so you'll need to make a trip out to your local hardware store to pick up some stainless steel hardware. You will also need to come up with a creative way to make it work with your mount if are planning to run this on a helix 7. Other than that, it is fantastic and I recommend it to anyone looking for a sturdy mount. ... show more

I upgraded to a Garmin 93SV so I wanted to try out a rotating mount where I could also see from the bow of the boat while fishing. This mount is outstanding. Feels like great quality and does what it is designed to do. It pivots and rotates so I can see what is going on while fishing on bow and rotate around to normal when I’m driving or fishing in back. Came with no hardware like bolts but everyone has their own different install. Just used stainless bolts and lock nuts. When the knobs are tightened, I feel no give or wobble. My pics attached show the unit installed and the old unit also. I am extremely happy with it and will update if any issues arise but I will plan on installing another if I get to upgrade my other boat sonar. ... show more

RAM is the best, hands down. On my latest boat purchase, I tried to be smart and get knock-offs from the big box store. It was a waste of money, I ended up buying RAM anyway.
