Home Master Artesian Full Contact Reverse Osmosis System solves many of the problems associated with traditional RO systems. Home Master RO systems use larger fittings and tubing than Traditional RO systems to double the flow rate. Traditional RO systems produce demineralized water that is highly pure but slightly acidic. This acidic water attacks the rubber bladder in the storage tank, entering the water stream and affecting the taste. The patented Home Master Artesian Full Contact remineralizes the water twice. Our patented remineralization system pH balances the water once on the way to the storage tank, and once again on the way to the faucet adding a small amount of calcium and magnesium minerals (30-60 mg/l), just enough to make the water slightly alkaline and improve the taste. The Home Master Artesian Full Contact delivers Mineral Water on Tap by first stripping the water clean, removing up to 98-percent of chlorine, chemicals, heavy metals, dissolved solids, pharmaceuticals and other contaminants using reverse osmosis, sediment and carbon filtration, then channels the water through the patented remineralization system twice to add calcium and magnesium minerals from a fresh new source. Bought this Reverse Osmosis system a year ago and it's great! I have recommended it to many people who have been equally impressed with its effectiveness, price and customer service from Perfect Water. I did a substantial amount of research and found that The Perfect Water is a real leader in their filtration systems. Not only does this filter out unwanted contaminants in your water to an exceptional degree, but through a natural remineralization process restores the pH of the water after the full cycle of filtration. The system is sturdy, adaptable and easy to install, though you either need a sink with an outlet, or you can easily drill one yourself. You can honestly taste the difference in this water. We live in North Carolina presently and the city water is disgusting by comparison. The water is acidic, bitter to the taste and clearly has chlorine in it. After installing this system, we did a blind test of normal tap water, RO water from a grocery store, Alkaline water and water from this system. Our Home Master TMAFC system was the clear winner. We selected this model based on our needs and while it isn't the top line model (the HydroPerfection is) we felt confident that our choice would greatly meet our needs. The installation instructions and videos are very clear and it is a relatively simple process. It only took me 30-40 minutes to get the system going, though it would have been faster had I not had an issue with my sink, which is totally unrelated to this system. Make sure to read instructions clearly and to be gentle with all the parts. Even someone with limited experience can install the system and you can easily reinstall it if you move. Our customer service experience with The Perfect Water has been exceptional. We got our first water tank with a slight dent and cracking in the outer enamel. Within 3 days we had a perfect replacement tank at no charge and no hassle. Perfect Water even called back to check on the status of the tank! Their staff are extremely helpful and care deeply about their product. For this reason, I'd choose them over any competitor. Finally, if you are having hesitations about spending $300-$400 (or more) on a water filtration system, keep this in mind: anything that doesn't get filtered out of your water goes right through you. You become the filter, in essence. With such irregularities and failures of municipal water systems, it really makes sense to have an additional layer of protection for you and your family. When people complain about the costs of good, filtered water or say locally sourced organic vegetables aren't worth the extra expense, keep in mind that one's body regenerates its cells and very atoms through the energy we take in through food, water and air. We are what we eat/drink/inhale. This is certainly a great step to take for a healthier life.

100 stars. All of the stars. I live in Kalamazoo, MI, and the city water here is disgusting and hard. This water filter makes my water taste actually delicious!!! Listen to me tho. Do NOT order thru Amazon. Go to their own website and order directly or call them to order. I ordered from Amazon like an idiot. Not only because it's stupid to support Amazon, but because my water filter arrived without the tank. At first I thought it was just me being dumb and that maybe the tank was sold separately, but it was Amazon. I contacted the company and they sent me a tank which took about 7 days to arrive. At that point, I started the install process, only to realize that the faucet shouldn't have passed quality control. At the base was a deformation in the metal causing it to not sit flush when properly secured to my sink. I contacted the company again, and the customer service was absolutely amazing both times, and not only did they send me a replacement faucet but they also made sure to make my experience excellent by sending me a set of filters to use next year for free. I was very impressed. It is so rare to experience high quality customer service these days. The installation video is easy to follow, and I was able to install everything by myself easily, including drilling a hole into my drain pipe under the sink to attach the drain for the filter system. I was so scared, and intimidated that I wouldn't be able to do it- but seriously it was easy. And now my water tastes amazing. No matter where you live, this water filter will take any kind of disgusting water and make it the best water you've ever had! If you're looking for a good filter system, you found it. I previously had it under sink aquasana filter system which just didn't taste very good. The aquasana system broke after less than a year, and they did replace it under warranty, but I had to install the whole thing again. They told me too bad. I purchased replacement parts and limped along, especially fighting with changing the filters every 6 months. With this system you only need to change your filters once a year, and it is made to be done easily. I wish I would have just bought this system in the first place! I'm not a robot, I'm a real person. I was not asked to write this review. I'm choosing to write this review because you all deserve to have delicious water!

We installed the Tap Master Artesian Full Contact RO system in our kitchen 2 years ago and have been very pleased with the taste and overall performance of the unit. It lives up to its billing and advertised claims. The Tap Master Artesian Full Contact is the only RO unit on the market (that I know of) which remineralizes and neutralizes drinking water. This is important (see below) and the main reason I selected the unit. The unit is easy to install with standard tools and comes with all needed instructions. I did a lot of research on RO water purification before purchasing this unit. For the previous 10-15 years we had been using jug type water filters to improve the taste and reduce exposure to water treatment pesticides, chemicals (chlorine, etc) and heavy metal contaminants (e.g. lead from pipes) in municipal drinking water. I came across an article that basically said the jug type of filters do very little other than improve the taste and odor of the water. Apparently most chemicals, heavy metals and biological contaminants simply go right through typical charcoal type of filters and cartridges. There are a lot of different types of filters on the market, but Reverse Osmosis is the only method that I found, which eliminates all contaminants because of the way the RO membranes works. So I wanted to replace our water jug with a RO membrane unit. There is some controversy about using RO membranes for drinking water purification. In addition to eliminating all harmful contaminants (such as heavy metals, pesticides, chlorine, viruses/bacteria, etc), RO membranes also eliminate beneficial essential minerals such as calcium, magnesium, etc. A second problem that RO membranes introduce is they make the water acidic, which is also not healthy and can cause corrosion of your pipes and teeth. To solve these two problems, one can manually add mineral drops to the water after RO treatment to restore the essential minerals and to rebalance the acidity (pH) of the water. Mineral drops, however, aren't convenient so they are not a practical solution. The Tap Master Artesian Full Contact is the only RO unit I found on the market that does this automatically with a remineralization cartridge. I guess the company has a patent on the concept so other RO manufacturers can't offer the remineralization feature. This is why the unit is expensive relative to other RO units on the market, but if you are buying bottled mineral water the additional cost of unit will pay for itself in 6 months. Plus, knowing what I now understand about mineral depleted RO water, I won't expose my family to the cheaper RO units. Our unit has worked flawlessly for 2 years (we changed the cartridges once on the normal change schedule). Very happy with the purchase decision and would buy the product again.

Rarely does a product have the capacity to change peoples' lives. And that too something that took less than $500 to buy and set up. This RO system is one such, and here is my story. I had been using a water filter that had two compartments, candles in the upper and lower chamber that had to be cleaned out every two weeks or so, and the water frequently ran out. The thing was a huge stainless steel behemoth that sat like an alien on the kitchen counter right between the sink and the microwave. Also, because of the issues, my wife would not use it, preferring tap water (oh the horror!). Then I saw an RO system in my father's house. And my in-laws' house. So I was sold. There was hardly any maintenance required. So I did some research, and the Home Master system came up as one of the top contenders. I placed an order the very next day on Amazon, and soon the thing arrived. I opened it and was immediately intimidated. There were many tubes and filters and things I had a hard time wrapping my brain around. I looked at online videos, but in the end, called my plumber who also took a while to set it up. We needed to call the phone support tech who helped us out. There were, as you could say, teething problems: mostly relating to pressure. A bicycle pump was borrowed, the bladder in the tank inflated, and all was well. In retrospect, I suppose I could have installed it myself, but plumbing intimidates me because of the leak issue, and I would have taken way more time than the plumber. All of us felt the quality of the water had improved tremendously. No one could tell for sure if there were added minerals or not, but the chlorine-y taste was gone. My wife was using the water; gone were the tap water days. There was no more hassle of manually filling the tank or scrubbing the filters. After a while (they recommend a year, but it ended up being more than a year-and-a-half), filter change time came, and I lost pressure. I emailed and called, but it happened to be a weekend. Surprisingly, I got an answer to my email on Sunday. I needed a bicycle pump it seemed, so I ordered one on Amazon ($16, a seriously good pump for using once a year), and inflated the bladder per instructions. However, the pressure did not return. I called (there was an hour left) and got the same tech, Matthew (thanks, Matt), and he was able to diagnose the problem right away. The water pressure is back, and I have a happy family once more. In summary, despite the somewhat complicated set up and relatively untidy look (tubes going everywhere), I strongly recommend the product. It has made our lives better for not that much money.

UPDATE: I was contacted by the manager of the company regarding this problem. He offered an exchange of my system for an upgraded system better suited for the hardness of water in Indiana. I am tentatively giving a 5 star rating for the company's customer service and going above and beyond in fixing my problem. Tentatively - because I haven't yet received the upgraded system. I will update the review when I receive the new system. OLD REVIEW: This is a review after using the system for two years. I am giving it 1 star despite all the glowing reviews. This system worked perfectly when new, and I would have given it 5 stars, however I ran into a serious problem two years later, and my system is barely usable right now. Let me explain what happened. My system was running fine after two years of using it. Water tasted great and it was refilling fast (two hours to full tank from empty). Then I decided to change the filters even though as I said everything was fine. I hate to fix stuff when it works. My recent experience proved again there is a good rational for this. But the manual instructs to change filters after 1 year. I ordered a set of filters from Amazon. It was very easy to install. There was unclear muddy water coming out the first time I tried the system. The installation instructions informed me this was normal. I just needed to flush the system. I ran the whole tank the rough the faucet to flush the artesian filter. The water was clear after a while. But then I got into another problem. The tank was refilling very slowly. I did my own testing and I found that the new filters had good flow through them, but the blue RO filter stopped working correctly. Very slow flow through it even when one connects the orange tube with water supply directly to it. The RO filter became clogged after attaching the new filter set. Then I was testing for about 2-3 hours with technicians over the phone and essentially arrived to the same conclusion. The RO unit is blocked. The technician told me I needed to buy a new RO filter (103$ delivered with discounts). I told him that my RO filter was fine before I installed the new set of filters and that the system was running perfectly. To me it is obvious that there was some dirt (or whatever) in the carbon or sediment filter and that this dirt blocked my RO filter making it unusable now. The technician dismissed this as impossible and that there should be no dirt in the new filters. Maybe the new filters should not contain any dirt, but they did and my system (which was running perfectly) became unusable after installing the new set. On top of that, despite all the flushing (5-6 full tanks, the system does refill in 10-12 hours), the first glass of water that comes out of the system is not clear. This is after 3 days of flushing (as I said it takes a long long time to refill the system now). It is clear to me that the new filter set I bought is defective and I will return it through Amazon. However, my blue RO filter is not going to work again. It is now blocked permanently by installing the defective set of filters.My expectation is to get a new RO filter for free from the manufacturer. It was not my fault that it became blocked. It was still fully functioning before installing the new set (2 hours refill) and became blocked in a blink of an eye with the new filter set. This is not a coincidence as the technician tried to make me believe. The technician from the company dismisses this and insists that I should buy a new RO filter (the one that is supposed to work for 5 years). What was supposed to be just a filter change requires now $180 to make the system working again.

This was very highly recommended by a guy who does fluoride reviews in Canada. Can't remember his name, but he had done a LOT of work. Anyhow, he highly recommended Perfect Water, so I bought. I am paranoid about water leaks, so I had a plumber do it, but I'm sure most people can do it themselves if they are handyman inclined. Anyhow. works perfectly, zero problems. I just installed the replacement filters, very easy. So... here's the big point that give an A+: Not only is the product highly rated, problem free, here is the big point: When you call, you do NOT get an infinite phone tree (press 1, the press 5, then press 8, then press.... oops, just got disconnectd! Nor do you get somone in India that is reading a script. On the first ring or two, you get a ***live person who knows what they are doing, and is knowledgeable, pleasant and customer centric. Don't know about you, but this is worth a ZILLION dollars to me. Nor do they use some idiot AI system that understands nothing (the other day, a friend lost some luggage at the .airport and something like a purse, and it too, forever to get it to stop thinking she did not want to go to Paris. Got 15 minutes to waste? Call an AI system. Want a human who understands, answers the phone with NO phone tree,, etc? Use Perfect Water. But hey! Don't believe me. Call their 800 number yourself. It is WONDERFUL to see someone go back to old school customer service, plus they are US based.

I researched water filtration systems for many days before deciding to pull the trigger on the Tap Master TMAFC. I am extremely happy with my choice. I installed this system back in February 2013 and wanted to use it a while before I wrote a review. I use the water from this system for all my water consumption/cooking needs. Along with our family of four we have four pets, two dogs and two cats that we use the water for as well and they are all happy and healthy. The taste of this water is amazing, I feel very healthy when I drink it. I installed the system in about four hours, I took my time and read the instructions carefully at each step. That is probably longer than it would take for most, but again - I was in no hurry and wanted to install it once and not have to mess with it again. The instructions were clear and I installed it by myself. It fit under my sink with no issue. I put in a tee and ran a line to my refrigerator so now my ice and the water dispenser on my refrigerator uses this amazing water. I now save money not having to buy a filter for my refrigerator, the model refrigerator I have came with a bypass plug that allows the water to be used without going through the refrigerator filter, no need to strip the good minerals out that are added with the Tap Master system. I have not replaced any filters yet on the Tap Master system and I still get an excellent reading from my water quality tester, and we use a lot of water. We use it to make tea, coffee and the taste is amazing. I could not imagine going back to using tap water, or even bottled water for that matter. When I go somewhere I fill a water bottle and take it with me. Bottom line, if you are serious about wanting to upgrade the quality of the water you use for cooking and drinking this is the system you want to get. It may cost a little more than some on the market, but how the system is designed and the quality of the water you get from this system it is well worth the cost. Another bonus is the issue with all the plastic water bottles that are filling our landfills. Since getting this system we have not bought any bottled water, saving us lots of money and having to deal with all the plastic bottle waste. I would also recommend getting a permeate pump for the system for quicker recovery time and less water waste. The pressure on this system is excellent and I have not had any issues of low pressure (that seemed to be a reoccurring issue with other systems I researched) and between our family of four and four pets we use a lot of drinking water. The faucet that comes with the system is a good quality and works well. Overall I cannot say enough good about this system and could not imagine not having one in my home.

Overall a very good product. I'd rate this 4.5 if I could. This is my first RO system, so I don't have anything to compare it to. But I'm very happy with it. The system was very easy to install. From start to finish it about 45 minutes and that with a little "helper." Though I did utilize an extra hole in the counter to install the fixture and that saved some time. The water tastes great and has everyone in my family drinking more water and less other stuff. That's worth the cost right there. My one con with this particular system as sold through Amazon is the faucet fixture. This thing is cheap. And ugly. And it leaks. This system costs more than most others available and in my opinion is worth the cost. But really the company could charge a little more and include a better fixture. I know they have them available on their website and should have them here too. I'm going to replace it as soon as I find one that will fit the line. Knocked off .5 stars for the faucet. Overall though, a good RO system.
