This is heavier than other thread netting I've tried. That's a good thing but has taken some adjustments to get the tension right. I really being able to cut each net to the proper length for the different sizes of spools. I'd say I'll buy again but I think this may be a lifetime supply!

Quality is good but it doesn't hold 500m Spools at all. It stretches well and stay stretched. I cannot use it.

Today I was sewing with 500m spools of metallic thread and tried out the netting. I loved that I could cut to the proper length. I cut a bit longer so I could tuck it in at the bottom. Using a thread stand, the thread came from the top of the spool and netting without tangling! No shredding perfect stitching using the net, thread stand and top stitch needle! Iโ€™m glad I purchased these despite the previous negative reviews. When using large king size quilting thread, regular spool huggers donโ€™t work as the cones are too big. They are also quite pricey. I received these today and put them on three of my open spools. As you can see in the picture, they fit nicely and do their job.
