Keeping sweat out of carpet....The Mats arrived quickly, laid flat within 15 min. The bottom of the mats are smooth, the top has a light non-slip grip. The thickness is perfect...Firm for equipment, yet soft enough for body workouts. First mat eliminated the slight wobble I was experiencing with my elliptical machine (bonus) The second mat has served me well as an overall Yoga, pushup, sit-up, whatever mat. I will be using these mats outdoor as well, Tent floor pads, and in my Goose Hunting blind. Super easy to wipe down and disinfect after a workout, much easier to set up than puzzle piece mats. I bought a treadmill for my apartment (you can check my review on that if you'd like: SereneLife SLFTRD 18) so I wanted a rubber mat to place underneath to protect my floor and to reduce vibrations for my neighbors below me. The floor has been kept free of damage thanks to this mat and I have asked them multiple times if the treadmill bothers them and they haven't even noticed I'm on, so to that end, this mat is def helping (please ask your neighbors if you decide on purchasing a treadmill for an apartment/shared living complex, it's the nice and right thing to do). The mat isn't overly thick, but just enough, and it does not cause any unsteadiness to the treadmill that is on top. Please double check dimensions prior to purchasing. You can easily clean the mat using a vacuum. I would def recommend this mat for anyone needing to protect their floors and/or reduce vibrations from an exercising equipment!

Disclaimer -- there is some sort of free item claim upon review submission. But then i review most of my purchases and this one is no different. this review is not impacted by the free item claim. Requirement -- this mat was purchased for some in garage / patio calisthenics workouts owing to Covid-19 situation. this is a heavy well built mattress. straight out of the boxhad that rubber / chemical smell (not overpowering but it was there). Put it out in the sun for a coupe of days (bright sunny and rainy as well) and the smell is all gone. Now sits in the garage for workouts and has been put to a month+ of daily usgae. Pros -- -- extremely well built, sturdy and heavy mattress. -- Thickness is decent for the amount paid. spot jogging on it did mitigate the impact from the ground. -- the rubber density is very good. indents do get created as you stand on it but no to the extent to feel the ground beneath. -- grippy surface -- the texture is such to not let the foot slip and that is very helpful for mountain climbers/burpees. Cons -- -- dust does tend to reduce the grip a bit. A simple fix is to wipe it with a wet power towel (cleanex wipes are great but i am not sure of the effects of chemicals in the long run). Definitely recommended.

For my birthday, my husband got me a second hand treadmill that we saw at a thrift store (twenty-five bucks!!) and as soon as we got it home, I realized I had made a huge mistake in not getting a treadmill mat since we have brand new hardwood floors. Off to Amazon I went and came across this nifty little life saver. I was concerned about the size because I can not guesstimate the size of anything to save my life, and I was too lazy to grab the measuring tape, so I figured the worst that would have happened is that I would have to return it. It had arrived on time as promised (unlike a lot of other items I have been ordering from other sellers) and packaged quite nicely. The hard part came when I, a 130lb woman, decided to try and place the treadmill on the mat. It kept catching and would have been quite a sight, but still, I was able to do it. My treadmill originally seemed a little unbalanced or unstable (again, second hand and $25, couldn't be too upset) but this actually not only made it stable, but a lot quieter too. The mat does seem a little thin, but extremely dense, so I have no worries about it breaking down anytime soon. I have a Pro-Form Crosswalk 380 and the sizing was just right, so if you're lazy like me, just compare the dimensions of my machine with yours. There is some extra room length wise, so may fit a longer machine, however, width wise, there isn't much free space beyond what my treadmill took up. I am also extremely pleased that the company offers a 2-year warranty. It shows that they truely stand behind their product and makes me happy to support them as a company. Would definitetly recommend to anyone in the market for a product like this!

Better than expected. Quality mat at half the price of the name brand ones. Put this under my bike trainer so I can drip sweat and periodically lube the chain without destroying the floor. What's not to like?

This mat works well for our Peloton bike. The bike is stable and not wobbling, and the mat provides a nice cushion for walking in your Delta clip cycling shoes. It was also easy to clean when my puppy chose it as an unfortunate spot to go the bathroom.
