  • Faulty electrical
Purchased this two months ago turned it on and set it up once I went back to it to use it never turned on or charged again. I did an exchange and got the new unit in and it did the exact same thing. Seems like a good idea just has been perfected yet . I did some research and apparently it was a common issue with this product and company. ... show more

  • Might be perfect for your needs or not
I use this machine for a while before I decided to review it. On the pro side it is compact and offers a variety of exercises. If you’re in a tight space. For that I would give it four out of five stars. As an addition to an existing gymI’d give it three out of five stars since you’ll likely already have equipment that outperformed this unit. My biggest complaint as others have noted is that the resistance is not smooth and there’s no weight on the return. The resistance does not gradually increase when you lift. It is immediately whatever you set it to. This is similar to a barbell workout where you feel the weight right away. This is definitely not as smooth is some higher and magnetic systems. I’ve used on the decline. There is no pressure as noted until you get to the bottom and reset. I was able to do a variety of exercises and the assorted grips that it comes with are a good quality. It has rollers on the bottom to move it around your location and it can easily store under a bed. If you’re tight on space, this is a great option for $300. The battery charges easily and can last a full workout. The weight adjusting is very easy to do from the dial and it keeps track of your reps. I did not use the app for this unit. ... show more

  • Amazing Compact Machine for a Full-Body Workout
This compact full-body workout machine is amazing. It is made of high-quality materials and has quickly become the center of attention in our little workout area in our finished basement. We enjoy stretching, yoga, and Pilates and generally don't use a lot of exercise machines at home. When I saw this on Amazon Vine, though, I decided to give it a try because it is so compact. It doesn't take up a huge amount of space like many home exercise machines do, so it works very well in a smaller workout area. We placed ours on a large rubber exercise mat in the basement. We've already tried several different exercises with it, and it has been a complete success and honestly a bit of a revelation. It's unbelievable how many different exercises you can do with one relatively small piece of equipment. It gives us so many more options for working different parts of the body without filling our workout area with multiple machines. The machine itself feels sturdy, substantial, and very well made. It also has a sleek, modern appearance and looks fantastic in the room. It has actually made me even more proud of our little home workout space! I'm extremely happy that I decided to try it. For anyone who wants a versatile full-body exercise machine at home without dedicating an entire room to bulky equipment, this is a great option. ... show more

  • Nice and compact, easy to adjust the weight, only resistance on the up pull.
This is a very interesting product. I have a home gym with cables that use actual weights that you adjust with a metal pin. This is completely different. It is limited in its use because you have to be standing on it, otherwise you wouldn’t be able to pull up the weighted cables without the whole machine moving. In theory you may be able to place a bench over it to lie or sit on to give you more variety and positions. But you would have to weigh the machine down with something (a couple heavy kettlebells might work) I have yet to try that though. That said, you do still have many options for working the upper body and the legs. There are a few different exercises that are easier on this machine than my other home gym (bicep curls for one). If you don’t have space for free weights this would be an alternative for some of those. My favorite part is the adjustment dial with LCD. It is super easy to adjust the dial to increase the weight. I have no idea how it works, but it’s kind of cool that it just seems to “magically“ get heavier as you turn the dial. There is an app you can use with it as well (I can’t add that to the review because I have yet to try it, I don’t feel like I’ve needed it). It is compact and fairly easy to move around. It is not lightweight. But Ii you have limited space you can get a decent weight workout and then just prop it on a wall or slide it under the bed when not in use. I wouldn’t recommend it as the only form of weights because it doesn’t do everything. My other home gym doesn’t quite get everything either. But it could definitely be useful if you have limited space because it is just so compact compared to other options. My one complaint, and it is pretty significant…. There is only weight resistance on the up pull, once you get to the top and start lowering you have zero resistance. Half of the benefit of weights is being able to do a slow and controlled lowering of the weight. And that is not possible with this machine. I’m sure this is for safety reasons and if you are older, new at lifting, or have other safety concerns this might actually be of benefit to you. If you are looking to maximize your lifting routing this machine will fall short in that area. It’s effective enough overall that I would only deduct one star for that. I really like the machine overall. ... show more

  • Digital Cable Machine with Adjustable Resistance
I use cable machines and adjustable resistance gear in my home gym, so I wanted something that could handle pulls, presses, and arm work without needing a full weight stack. I used it for a couple of weeks, working out 4 to 5 days per week. It was set up in my home gym and used mostly for upper-body training, along with some glute and leg work using the ankle straps. The resistance changes in small increments, which made it easy to move from lighter curls to heavier rows without changing my entire routine. I used the included bar and handles for chest presses, shoulder presses, rows, pull-style reps, curls, and triceps work. It covered a lot of muscle groups in one setup. Cable movement is smooth without any binding. It fit well in a small space. I could roll it into place for each session and store it after I finished. The built-in display helped me track resistance and repeat the same setting across sets, which made it easier to stay consistent from one workout to the next. Form matters more than with a fixed stack. I got better reps when I slowed the return and stayed controlled through the full range of motion. After a few workouts, I wrote down the resistance settings that felt right for each movement. That saved time and made each session smoother. The app works for basic use, but the more advanced features are behind a paid subscription. The good news is that you do not need the app for it to function, which makes the hardware feel more complete on its own. I like the hardware, but I’m not a fan of putting the most useful app features behind a paywall. Overall it has been a good addition to my home gym setup. ... show more

  • Compact Storable Home Gym
What I really like about this Home Gym Equipment, Smart Digital Cable Machine with Adjustable Resistance mini work out station is that it is compact and yet, with it, an incredible amount of muscle groups can be exercised! It is literally a mini gym stored in a corner of your room, or under your bed, or in your closet... You get the point, it takes up very little space and is easy to be stored and quickly pulled out for a workout session. There is minimal set up that needs to be done and anyone can use it as the resistance / pulling weight can be changed according to everyone's needs, making it versatile and suitable for a great variety of people. It is true that it isn't cheap, but if this is something that you (and others in your house) will use often, and especially if you don't have much space for a typical workout station with the bench, weights and bars, then this is an excellent option, and the price will quickly pay for it's self by saving you the monthly gym memberships. Also it is a quality build, so it should last a long time. It has a rechargeable battery, USBc cable is used to charge it. The one thing that seems strange for me is that there is no power off button, and it takes 1 hour for the machine to auto power down, it seems like making it power down in 15 minutes would conserve battery life... I think it is a great buy! ... show more
