  • Stunning QD-OLED Picture, But Runs Hot.
Size: 32 Inch Style: Monitor Only Pattern: 4K UHD 2160p
I've been using this monitor for a while now, and here's my honest take. The short version? The picture quality is absolutely breathtaking, but there are a couple of things you should know before buying. The Display is Jaw-Dropping This is my first QD-OLED monitor, and I'm blown away. The colors are incredibly vibrant and accurate right out of the box. Samsung's QD-OLED panel delivers those perfect, inky true blacks that OLED is famous for—no backlight bleed, no gray patches. Games and HDR content look next-level. it also utilizes Samsung's 4th Generation QD-OLED Penta Tandem™ panel technology. HDR is Seriously Strong The VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification is no joke. Bright highlights pop without washing out the deep shadows. It makes games like Cyberpunk 2077, Starfield, and Forza Horizon 5 look absolutely stunning. The contrast ratio is simply unbeatable. 4K at 240Hz is Buttery Smooth Coming from 144Hz, the jump to 240Hz is noticeable. Everything feels incredibly fluid, and with the 0.03ms response time, motion blur is practically nonexistent. It's a dream for fast-paced FPS and racing games. DisplayPort 2.1 is Future-Proof One of the main reasons I bought this monitor is the DP 2.1 (UHBR20) port. It provides 80Gbps of bandwidth, meaning it can run 4K at 240Hz without any compression. This is future-proofing at its finest for next-gen GPUs. USB-C with 98W Power Delivery I connect my MSI Vector laptop to this monitor with a single USB-C cable. It delivers video, audio, and 98W of power all through one connection. Clean desk setup? Absolutely. (Note: you still need your laptop's big power brick for heavy gaming sessions.) Glare-Free Screen Works Great The matte coating handles reflections really well. I have a window behind my desk, and I can play during the day without any distracting glare. Included DP 2.1 Cable Samsung includes a full-size DP 2.1 cable in the box, which is exactly what you need to get that 4K 240Hz uncompressed signal. No need to buy a separate cable for video. What I Don't Love : The Joystick Control is Annoying The monitor has a single joystick button on the back for navigating the OSD menu. It's not intuitive and feels clunky. For a premium monitor at this price, I expected something more user-friendly—maybe a separate remote or more accessible buttons. It takes some getting used to, and I still find it frustrating. It Runs HOT This is my biggest complaint. The screen generates a significant amount of heat. After about an hour of gaming, you can literally feel warmth radiating from the screen onto your face. It's not dangerous, but it's noticeable and can be uncomfortable during long sessions. Make sure your room has good airflow if you buy this. I had to return the monitor just cause of that. No Smart Features (But I Knew That) This model doesn't have Samsung's Tizen smart TV features. I personally prefer it as a pure gaming monitor, but if you wanted built-in apps and streaming, this isn't the one. Would I recommend it? Yes, absolutely—if you're prepared for the heat and the awkward OSD controls. The picture quality, HDR performance, and future-proof connectivity make it one of the best gaming monitors you can buy right now. It's a premium product with a few quirks, but the display experience is truly top-tier ... show more

  • A very good 4k monitor with a good headphone jack
Size: 32 Inch Style: Monitor Only Pattern: 4K UHD 2160p
It's a really really good monitor if you don't mind not having glossy the colors are extremely vibrant and the 4K 240s is nice too I also really like the headphone jack in here you turn up the volume to 80% and your headphones to whatever it has good bass response I was shocked about that I haven't heard anybody mention anything about the headphone ports in this monitor so I will be the first. ... show more

  • Premium OLED, excellent performance
Size: 32 Inch Style: Monitor Only Pattern: 4K UHD 2160p
An outstanding monitor. This is my first venture into the OLED space. Beautiful picture, fluidity, and performance. Samsung perfectly blends gaming specs into a refined, professional looking monitor. The silver stand and shell are particularly high quality.

  • Awesome black pixels
Size: 27 Inch Style: Monitor Only Pattern: 4K UHD 2160p
This is an amazing display that is well worth the cost. I bought a cheap 4k monitor in the past and I didn't realize how much I wade missing out with my NVIDIA card.

  • Cheap plastic button broke after 2 weeks use.
Size: 32 Inch Style: Monitor Only Pattern: 4K UHD 2160p
Bought this in July 26. After 2 weeks the rear menu control / power joystick button broke off. I can't access the Samsung display menus or turn the screen on/off One wouldn't expect an expensive monitor like this to fail so easily because of a cheap plastic button. This sucks.

  • Almost perfect, but the matte coating ruined it.
Size: 32 Inch Style: Monitor Only Pattern: 4K UHD 2160p
This is a monitor that is genuinely so close to greatness but suffers from one single draw back that I could not deal with. Let’s start positive though, the colors are simply superb. I’ve never seen anything quite like it and at 4K the visual fidelity in games was just jaw dropping. The screen was pleasantly bright which is something I was concerned about with OLED panels but nowadays it seems that they have worked out the issues from previous generations. It’s really hard to describe how much of a step up a monitor like this is even from a high end mini-led monitor that I started with. Now for the downsides. Generally I’ve never had any issues with matte displays, my previous one even had it because the benefit of having no glare is incredibly useful. The issue with this monitor though is that the matte coating is so thick that it becomes an inconceivably frustrating annoyance. I read reviews that stated it’s noticeable but you can get used to it, I personally could not. Any time anything bright appeared on screen (which most things are) you will notice a not so subtle grain to the image. It looks as if the display was coated in a somewhat coarse layer of sand, and it’s incredibly off-putting. They made such an amazing panel and ended up ruining it by overdoing it on the matte coating. That crisp image is hidden behind essentially a panel filled with dust that you can not fix by making adjustments. If you sit far back it isn’t a problem, but if you plan on using this for your desktop then you’ll find it a constant problem. It doesn’t help that it makes text harder to read as well. Overall, it’s a brilliant monitor that had everything going for it, ruined by having an excessive matte coating. They need to revisit this in the next models, or please just offer glossy as well since at the very least you have some agency in being able to control light sources behind you. ... show more
