I'm in love with this little pillow (I selected the 14 x 20 size): the cover is soft, zipper runs smoothly and its easy to adjust or remove filling if/as needed. I think the smaller size is perfect as a pillow for your head for sleeping while in bed as it is adjustable, maleable, and the mix of buckwheat in with the alternative fill is cooling as advertised. I sleep directly on the soft pillow cover (which is washable & as I said, very easy to remove) and I find that the smaller 14 x 20 size provides excellent custom cradling and support for my head and neck whether sleeping on my back or on my side. This is not a pillow intended as a "huggable" bed pillow: if you want a larger pillow to fit a standard or queen pillowcase, you just need to order the larger size 20 x 26 so I really don't think its fair for some to rate lower based on size when they could have ordered a larger size.

This pillow is very small. I was expecting a standard size. This I would say is smaller than even a travel pillow. Perhaps only about the size of an adult sized head. But, because it has buckwheat, it's quite heavy for it's size. So, it may make a great travel pillow when you won't have to tote it around or pay for it's weight. It has a thick outer case that is soft and textured, somewhat like velvet. It has a good thick inner case that is full of buckwheat and peanuts. It's quite comfy, but because the outer cover is so thick, you don't get the kind of molding to your head you might expect from buckwheat or shredded memory foam. It's more like a firm solid pillow. That's a bit of a shame because my favorite thing about both materials is that they really conform around your head and neck.

This pillow was smaller than I expected but it matches the measurements so that's on me. I move a lot in my sleep and the crunchy sound that the buckwheat hulls make was bothersome for me. The pillow was comfortable, very supportive (albeit firm) and did not smell weird. The cover is soft and appears to be of excellent quality. I love that you can remove filling from the inner liner to make it softer/flatter. I'm going to find a decorative cover for this and use it on my couch instead, it's the perfect size/shape for that application and for napping (with the tv on) - I don't think the crunchy-ness will be such an issue than as it is at bedtime.

Small, dense, but surprisingly comfortable. When i received the pillow, I was surprised and disappointed with its size. The pillow looks funny in my exiting pillow cases. However, my disappointment was gone after my first night sleep with the pillow. I am a side sleeper, and this pillow was perfect for me. It is dense, so my head is well supported when laying on my side. It is dense, but the head does mold just a little into the pillow, so things remain in place during the night. For the first time in a long time, I woke up without a stiff neck. And I did sleep better. I have been using this pillow for a few days, and enjoying my sleep. I still have different pillows on the bed, I have one for back sleeping and one cradling. I didn't expect to like this pillow as much as I did. For function, I give it a 5 out of 5. The only thing I hold against it is the size, it looks so silly in a king sized pillow case.

Good Quality zippers on Fill Bag, and also on Quilted pillow case Dimensions: 14 x 20 inches Hulls inside give space for air circulation, keeping the Head/Face cooler ... No smell ... You can immediately make the pillow firmer by shaking most of the Buckwheat to one end, then fold excess fabric under ... I like it medium, so use as-is flat ... Relaxing support between neck and head, easy to change positions Fabric is Quality, straight seams, well built .

I got this pillow for my boyfriend because he wanted to try something different from his memory foam pillow. This pillow helped control his temperature so much he was able to sweat less from sleeping. He also mentioned how the pillow is very firm to hold up whatever position he was sleeping in. It was also soft enough to be comfortable sleeping too. It also helped with him getting less muscle spasms. The cover is very easy to wash and it is removable for that reason.
