  • Very Comfortable and Supportive Gaming Chair
Color: White
I’m very happy with this chair. It looks stylish and feels very comfortable for long hours of sitting. The back support and headrest pillow help keep a good posture, and the seat cushion is soft but supportive. I also like that it is adjustable and easy to move around. The quality feels good and it was not difficult to assemble. It’s perfect for gaming, working, or studying at a desk. Overall, it’s a great chair for the price and I would recommend it. ... show more

  • Top starter gaming racing chair
Color: White
I consider this the best starter racing style gaming chair you can get. They are all about the same size, so if you're on the fence and want to try it out before dumping a lot of money on a chair, I think this is a 5 star chair for that. Overall I think these are also a bit better than the Amazon Basics mid-back or high back chairs, and I consider leather, even PU leather, much better to sit on than the mesh chairs that are popular. The problem with PU is it will always peel, there's no way around that, and it's only going to really last a few years. Mesh will last a bit longer maybe but isn't really that comfortable. The super expensive office chairs that I've had at work I don't think are at all worth it. But even if you think they are, they are just a lot more expensive. This chair is easy to put together, it takes about 20-30 minutes max and everything is easy to tighten with the included allen wrench. The covers you have to screw in, and I might recommend a regular screwdriver, especially for the deeper holes. There is no hole on the seat cushion for those cover screws, but you don't really need any since the screws are shallow and will screw into the brackets anyway. The chair does smell. Some of it is probably polyurethane and some of it is probably the off-gassing. I'm sure it will go away after a bit, but be prepared for that. Some of the surfaces are also a little dusty, but I used a simple multi-purpose cleaner spray and it came right off. Chair tilts a little backwards, but when you sit on it, it feels straight so I guess that's just how it's supposed to be. The back rest has a tilt/recline feature, which you activate with a lever on the right side almost exactly like a car seat does. The included lumbar and neck pillows are filled with some cheap cushion material and covered also in PU leather. The higher end chairs will give you velour covered memory foam. You can also buy those for $30-50 if you really want to as well. I would say if you like this style of chair, the next real upgrades are real grain leather and Napa leather options. That will set you back $500+ and $700+ and you can really only get them from Noble Chairs or Secretlab. I plan to do this for the Napa at some point, albeit they are out of stock, and chances are the price will get closer to $1k. I am not fully sure if those will last longer either, you might just be better off buying this chair every few years instead. As I wrote above, PU chairs are all pretty much the same. The material really doesn't change. They all seemingly use a nylon base, PU leather, steel frame and foam for the cushions. This chair says it uses a shaping sponge, while the others say they use cold cured foam. The cold cured foam maybe is a step above, and the velour with memory foam pillows probably are too, but I'm not sure that it's worth the $300+ most of the gaming racing chairs charge. I seriously think once you start going above this price point at $100-120 or so, the next upgrade has got to be in the upholstery, and nothing else really will matter as much. Overall I'd give this chair a solid 3 or 4, but for the right person it's a 5. That's the problem with the rating system, I don't know exactly what you personally are looking for. An inexpensive chair that will last a couple of years or more and is in this style, it's a 5 easily. If you're looking for really high quality, and it's just a step for you, maybe it's a 3 or 4. But at this price point I can't justify anything below 5 stars, so I give it a 5, and I urge people that want to try this style out to seriously consider grabbing this one first, if they can't test out a higher priced chair for awhile and don't feel comfortable just dropping a higher price amount without testing something. Edit 1 Week: Smell was really terrible for the first 2-3 days, but then faded and is fine/gone now. Might not be a bad idea to let this air out a few days somewhere. The arms got wobbly and I had to re-tighten the bolts. I had to do this two times. Not sure if this will be a continuing issue or not. I'm still undecided whether I will stick with this or go for a better leather version. I really don't want to get another PU version, so for that I'll probably stick with this. But if I see a good deal on the real leather and napa leather options I'm leaning towards getting that, and giving this one to someone else as a gift. ... show more

  • Not for all. Not wide enough seat for hips and thighs for some and may cause discomfort. Not for all. Not wide enough seat for hips and thighs for some and may cause discomfort.
While there were some shipping issues and complaints and issues, the seller was more than willing to get me taken care of despite all the issues just to receive it. That being said, when I got it, shipping box and contents inside were all nicely packaged and protected inside and individually wrapped or boxed. The quality of the chair does seem very nice for the price you are paying. I did not get this chair necessarily as a gaming chair as the title of the product states it as. I just liked the look of it and the features it includes. I also wanted a tall back chair for head and neck support. I am 6’3” tall and my last office chair was only a mid level back and old and falling apart. The installation of the chair was actually fairly easy in my opinion. The included paper instructions provided more than enough detail and instruction to get me through it. I did create a customer how to/installation and setup video which should be showing up any day now once approved. Made understanding how to install it a much more fun way to watch it being built from ground up. I’ve had the chair now and have used it for a few days now. The very first full day I had it (I installed it the night before after work), I actually came home super tired and sat down in it. I give the comfortable rating a 7/10. It was comfortable enough especially when reclining the chair back, I actually fell fast asleep it in. Wasn’t a LazyBoy comfort sleeping chair but it was good enough especially for an office chair. I rate it a 7 for a reason though, something I am honestly very disappointed in and debating on rather I can keep it or not. If one tiny issue was fixed, I would likely give this chair and comfort a 9 or 10 rating. My problem is this: the seat itself, is not wide enough. I am of a fairly average build. However with the raised angled ends on the seat itself where it feels like sturdy metal support bars inside, it keeps my hips and thighs so tight together with no room for much of a relaxed open leg seating position. It almost gives a slight bruising feeling on the side of my upper thighs and hips after prolonged time in it and possibly even pushing on veins and arteries in my legs just enough to slightly cut off blood circulation which in turn gives me a slight dead leg with tingle sensation. I have to keep adjusting my legs and move them from keeping this from happening. Also, I feel the seat could had used some sort of opening or circulation to circulate air. It gets to be a pretty warm seat after awhile. If the seat itself was maybe 6 inches wider or else didn’t have the lifted angled sides on the ends of the seat, I’d say this chair is perfect. Back and head and neck support are all great in my opinion. My butt is by no means a wide big butt (haha) so for my wife with wider hips, naturally as a woman, she was uncomfortable in it instantly and didn’t like it whatsoever. If they ever modify this seat I would be willing to update the review. For now, as I said, I would take caution on seeing how the seat feels for you. I would almost pull the seat out and maybe just install the armrests and sit on it on the ground before putting it all together to see what may be an issue for you as well. I will upload a photo of the seat with me in it to show an example once Amazon turns photo uploads for reviews back on, apparently they have turned the option off temporarily citing the COVID as some sort of reason. Update: I added photos as promised now that it gave me the ability to add them. The photos are to show the narrow seat conditions as I say in the chair and my outer thighs and hips and tight up against the elevated sides of the seat. I did purchase another item here on Amazon, a high rated seat cushion pillow which elevated me up a bit off the seat and has tremendously increased the comfort now where my thighs are not being squashed together. Grant it I shouldn’t have to buy something else to make this seat work better and more comfortable but I really didn’t want to have to deal with the time and pain in disassembling the chair and trying to send it back. I made it work. The seat cushion set me back another $30 but it’s worth it and I can technically take it with me elsewhere if I want to use it and it does really major sitting in this office chair a lot more comfortable and cooler temperature as well. Fairly easy assembly. Comfortable for my bad back I wish the seat itself had more length but that's my only thing. I enjoy the seat and haven't had any issues with it. Very sturdy.

  • We, as a society, need to rethink chairs like this
Color: White
Look, whoever started the trend of leather gaming chairs needs a stern talking-to. This might apply to all gaming chairs (I play games but wouldn't consider myself a serious gamer si IDK), but there are some serious problems with a chair like this: 1. Support Look, I've sat in a million offices with $1,000 chairs designed by the world's leading back-support engineers and even those hurt your back after a while. Sitting fully upright like Queen Elizabeth for 8 straight hours will do that. That being said, I haven't had any issues with this chair in that regard. Except for the pillow. The freaking pillow. This chair comes with this weird strap-on leather pillow that goes... somewhere?! It can go behind your back, but then your spine is forced to make an inverted C-shape that no human being can possibly enjoy. You can also strap it around the top like the headrest of a cheap dental seat but it literally does nothing for comfort or your neck. 2. Farting Okay, okay, HEAR ME OUT ON THIS. This chair features a flat leather seat. Think that through. There's no mesh. No cloth. Your ass is literally suction-cupped to this leather panel. Where do you think that fart is going the second you feel the urge? If you're a gamer and are spending multiple hours in front of a screen, there's a big chance, you're gonna have to fart at some point. Do you peel your sweaty butt from the synthetic leather surface to let one rip? Or do you take your chances of a full-on backfire while seated? And that's only the start of it. This seat is made of a material that, smell-wise, remembers EVERYTHING. I kid you not, I clean this seat every day because of how bad it can smell. If my cat jumps up on it, it smells like kitty litter (bad girl!). If I fart on it, it smells like farts. If I drop a cheeto between my legs IT SMELLS LIKE CHEETOS. And these smells linger indefinitely. If you don't regularly clean this chair, it will start to smell like everything you've ever sat on. 3. Heat If you're a human being and sweat when you're hot, ohhh boy, are you in for a treat. The adhesive properties of this faux-leather seat are honestly impressive. I haven't done this but I 100% believe if you sat on this chair naked for 20 seconds, you could pick it up with you and walk away with it stuck to your back. In the winter it was fine, honestly. But once summer hit and I stared wearing shorts again and, Gods forbid, I didn't wear a shirt?! Game. Over. I was sitting upright like Queen Elizabeth all on my own in a desperate attempt to keep my back away from my own chair. And, without a comfortable black, you're sitting on a freaking stool. So be ready to crank the AC lest you become part of the chair like old Boostrap Bill stuck on the side of The Flying Dutchman IN CONCLUSION: It's fine. Do I miss my old chair that completely broke? Yeah. Does this one look good? Yeah! Does it support my back and keep me 100% comfortable? NOPE. Should we, as a society, rethink chairs like this? Yes, I think so. ... show more

I've been using this chair for a while now, and it’s surprisingly comfortable for the price. The high-back design provides excellent support for my back during long sessions, whether I'm working or gaming. The synthetic leather feels durable and is easy to clean. • I love this chair
Color: Dark Black
I bought this chair Sept 2023 to replace a Vinnesse chair I had. I loved that chair, but after 5 years it started falling apart. Mostly due to my dog in his puppy stage attacking the cushion and the gas cylinder failing. I love this Homall chair just as much. Unfortunately, the past month, the gas cylinder started giving out. I wasn't expecting this chair to last 5+ years. I ordered a couple Hyken's last fall during black friday, and decided to set one up yesterday. I can't do it. I don't find it comfortable at all compared to the Homall when gaming. Maybe it's because for the past 8 years I've been using gaming chairs and they've messed up my posture so much that sitting correctly isn't comfortable. I like that the reclining isn't tied to the armrests like some others. It's the perfect height and angle when I'm playing baseball. I find the padding sufficient. Never felt the need to get a cushion. I'll sit sometimes for 5+ hours on this chair and I've never felt uncomfortable in it, nor any backpain. I have two "complaints" with this chair. The first one isn't really an issue considering the price range, but I wish they'd give a better quality gas cylinder. And two, the armrests started wobbling about a year and a half after I got it. Aside from that, I love this chair, and ordering another one. ... show more
