I had a 407k on the p365 just before this and couldn't co-witness with the stock sights (CA version which retains the rear sights). The EPS Carry is lower (thinner on the bottom), allowing for a bottom co-witness. Holosun has been making good products with good customer service. With the EPS Carry, I don't have to clean out the optic every week; just a wipe on the front and a wipe on the rear glass and good to go. Bright dot, clear screen, shake awake, long battery life with easy access, parallax-free.... All the good stuff. I like the 6 moa dot on the 407k, but for accuracy/fun at the range, wanted a small dot and this delivered. Dialed low, it's a tiny dot that does great for distances beyond 10 yards, but dialed up, it's super bright which puffs up the dot, so great for defensive/quick acquisition use. EPS Carry was much clearer and better than the Swampfox Sentinel which I returned because with both eyes open, the parallax on the Sentinel was making my eyes confused unless I closed the non dominant eye. Wasn't a fan of holosun for a while, and never found their red dots to work particularly well for my eyes but ended up giving this one a shot. I found the glass on the EPS carry to be clear with an acceptable amount of tint paired with a clear dot, perhaps I was critiquing the other models of holosuns too harshly or these do indeed do something differently to make the projection more clear. Could it be aspherical glass? I use this with the included adapter plate on my S&W Shield Plus OR 9mm and it is a very solid pair, holding zero. Dot adjustments have a nice feedback. Total fit and function of this dot is top notch, you cannot beat not having to worry about oil, dust, sweat, or dirt getting into the optic lens. Okay, this is by far one of my favorite red dot optics I’ve owned. The closed emitter in my opinion is easier to clean than others and it just looks amazing on my sig p365 X-Macro. Also I love that the optic glass isn’t magnified as I shoot with both of my eyes open so my target isn’t distorted at all. The only reason I’m giving this 4 out of 5 is because the optic doesn’t come with the smaller screws to mount the optic directly to the slide on the #1 selling concealed carry pistol on the market and that makes no sense.. you can contact Holosun and they will ship out the screws at no cost if you want to wait a week or two. I just filed mine down with a dremel. With that said.. for those that are wanting to cowitness with an sig p365 with the newer slides where the rear iron sight stays on, just be aware that even tho Holosun says you can use the factory sights there barely tall enough and almost not even worth it, I suggest getting new taller sights. Because of all of that doing a direct mount I found really not worth it. ... show more
