This is a great silicone mat. It has a lip, so spills don’t travel. And with our cats, who flip out easily and knock the water bowls fairly regularly, our wood floors are surviving the floods now. This was a wise purchase, the color choices are fun and appealing, and the mat is easy to clean.

My bengal cats sometimes like to play with their water and I did not want water constantly on my wood floors, so I got this mat to put under their water bowls. It works, durability and absorbance wise. It does not easily slide around but if the cats want to, they are able to drag it. It is easy to clean but easily stained or marked up even after thorough cleaning.

This mat is great for keeping food and water bowls from sliding around and spilling on the floor. It's easy to clean and stays in place on wood and laminate surfaces. My only piece of criticism is that the raised edges are very soft and do not prevent things like brooms and vacuums from deforming the mat. If you have a robot vacuum, it'll get caught on this mat and try to suck up the corners. If spills occur, be very careful picking up the mat or it will fold up on you. Otherwise, its easy to use and provides extra grip for food and water bowls that wouldwise slide around.
