I've never been on an e-scooter before in my life. I'm an older guy and for a long while I've been interested in how these feel to ride. However, I did not want to spend a whole lot of money to test it out. When I saw that the X1 can be had for an affordable price I decided to give it a try. I really love it. I find that I'm going places and doing things that I would not normally do because it would be too tedious to walk or to haul around a heavy unwieldy bicycle. The X1, by comparison, is super portable. It folds up and can fit very easily into the back of my car. It's especially nice for exploring in park trails that allow it or at least don't enforce bans. Under fairly gentle conditions, level ground at about 10mph, it is possible to get almost the 10 miles of advertised range. More spirited riding will reduce the range by quite a lot. The motor, even though it's only 250w feels plenty powerful to me. The cruise control takes a little getting used to but it works fine. The breaks feel like an entry level model but they do work. It makes a cool low hum when accelerating that sounds like a hovercar. When at a steady speed it's basically silent. I was surprised how stable it feels to ride. I'm still careful because the 8-inch tires are on the small side and even small obstacles in the path could cause instability. But I find if I'm attentive and keep my knees slightly bent it's just fine. The addition of the little bell is appreciated just to give folks a heads up that I'm coming. I'd suggest being aware that the X1 is entry level and is probably only suited to smooth well maintained bike paths. 15mph feels very fast on this scooter because the stability, while good, isn't great (which may be a bonus because it encourages me not to get overconfident). Having this model to experiment with I'm starting to get a much better idea of what I want when and if I upgrade. Certainly bigger tires and beefier brakes. I'd probably want a lot more battery too because 10 miles goes by so fast when you're having fun on your scooter. But I knew going in this is an entry level model with entry level specs.

We got the X3 for our son for Christmas and so far it has been good. The scooter did recently display an error code and we were outside of the return/exchange window. We contacted the company and they sent us a replacement part that fixed our issue free of charge! The customer service rep, Sidereal, was very friendly and helpful.

It’s almost perfect. Great speed - 20mph feels like a small car. Battery? Phenomenal. Not like those other 20 mile range but only ends up going 3-5 miles on max speed. It actually has good battery that lasts for hours on max speed. My only caveat is that the settings don’t save. Every time I power on I have to press the button to change gear to drive mode. It also is a little hard to lock and unlock — I feel like the buttons glitch a little. Everything else is great. Charging port is in an actually good location. It feels stable and solid and bumps are smooth. The base for your feet is big and I like the password lock feature, however, it realistically won’t stop a dedicated thief because guessing the password is possible, and the scooter’s auto locking system turns off if the scooter turns off.

I bought this item a few weeks ago, and it is defective. It looses power while riding and the lights don’t turn on. When I try to get a refund for it, it says I have to send it back and wait 30 days for a refund. I bought this to get to and from work and now I’m out of $400. Oh, and the customer support team from the manufacturer is non existent, you have to email them and wait for a reply.

The media could not be loaded. It comfortably maintains speeds around 15.5 mph and handles moderate inclines with ease. The foldable design is practical, and the combination of E-ABS and disc brakes provides strong, reliable stopping power. While the solid tires give up a bit of comfort compared to air-filled ones, they’re completely maintenance-free, which is a big plus.
