There are a LOT of drip kits on Amazon and I've ordered one or two myself. This one stands above the rest in terms of quality. The sprinkler timer you get with this is something that, standing alone, would eat up a large portion of the price of this kit, so it's a terrific value. The conversion piece that attaches to the timer (or, if your planters or other drip site is not located immediately adjacent to your hose bib, a standard garden hose) is nicer than I've ever seen--it is easy to insert the 1/4 inch tubing and I love that the water pressure on each tube is adjustable. This gives you flexibility not only in using this kit but in expanding upon it--for example, if you had tiny drip emitters running off one tube and mini-sprinklers running off another, you would want to apply different water pressure to each to maximize their potential. The adjustable emitters are also extremely high quality and I like that they act as a connector for tube lengths rather than something that is popped into a hole on top of 1/2" tubing and is stretched out over time. The bottom line is that other kits may wow you with a 1,000 pieces, but this one has things you truly need to get completely set up. It is much cheaper to go and buy additional emitters than to but the timer or drip conversion piece included here.

This- HIRALIY 85FT Garden Watering System with Garden Timer, Pressure Compensating Drippers, is probably the best and most complete garden watering kit available - including patented parts- all you need is a good pressured-water supply. Very good quality components and an excellent and reliable battery powered timer and a kit that is easy to assemble - even for a very remote cabins' vegetable garden- powered by a large battery bank/ solar panels/ inverter/ and, an on-demand pressure pump. With a water supply that comes from a solar powered well pump- with timer/ to a-1000 gallon upright- potable water tank that is insulated. When the timer turns on- the pressure pump comes on for the needed pressure to run these drip lines and little waterspouts. The drip line is the good quality flexible type, and all parts insert easily and stay connected- with the water being directed to each individual plant pod- thus saving water while giving the plants all the water they need to grow through their full cycles all the way to harvest time. Excellent and well- made automatic watering kit! Great find!
