I really needed something to keep my flowers watered when I went on vacation. I set this system up with a scheduled timer attached to water everyday. I hung the tubing from t-posts for the flowers on the side of my house and put the others on the ground for the flowers in the front of the house. The side was not the prettiest with the posts but this saved my plants and flowers while on vacation for a week and once the plants filled in, the t-post didn’t look bad. It was very easy to setup but I did have my husband help because he is more technical than myself. I left this system out all winter and just planned on having to replace the tubing but I was able to just plug it back up this season and it works just fine. Even though I did not have any issues other than a couple of missing pieces, I would not recommend leaving out in the winter. ... show more

    • This is the perfect kit, has enough specially a long distribution tube (8mm ID) and drip tube (1/4)

I purchased the first kit, it was $27.xx to drip-water one section of my garden and to save water (vs traditional irrigation garden sprinklers). I could tell, this kit has enough specially distribution tube (8mm inner diameter - 8mm ID, I am not sure if size is actually 5/16 or not since the inner diameter is 8mm as I measured, you will not find this type of tube size sale separately, if needed longer, you might have to order second kit which I did to extend the distribution tube longer since the area I wanted to drip-water large! ) as well as enough 1/4 drip tube. I paired this kit with Orbit single hose digital timer (battery operated, it is the brass head version on one end where it is connected to the garden faucet). I compared this kit with other and found most have either short or very short distribution tube 8mm and other have only 1/4 as distribution tube (this builds up the pressure to the whole drip system , drip sprinkler thus you have to make sure the included distribution tube long enough and must be large in diameter rather than 1/4) I might buy the third kit since the seller drops the price from $27 to $23 ...very very good price now!! I am not affiliated with the seller or this product but hope my review can help anyone looking for drip irrigation kit to get this kit!! I just installed this kit (I had to order second kit to extend the distribution tube goes farther,,,but the included distribution tube is around 50ft .. you should have more than enough!) couple days ago! for the long run,,,maybe I will come back next or following month to give a review how the tube and drip sprinkler perform - so far so good! ... show more

Easy to use and set up. No experience needed. You can set up your deck with about 15 pots in abouot 3 hours once you figure out the system. The one shortcoming is that the sediments in the water can cause the heads to clog which can be a prolbem if you're away for weeks. The kit works great if you’re only going to use the kit. I wanted to expand my system and couldn’t find any supplies for the 3/8” hose and fittings anywhere on Amazon. The rest of my system uses the more common 1/2” hose.

    • I wish I had never bought this... Totally NON-STANDARD SIZES! Buyer beware!

I am so frustrated. The kit states that there are 4 hose adapters. 2 of them step down from the faucet to the larger hose, and the other 2 of them step from a standard faucet size down to a standard 1/2in tubing size. The 1/2in tubing size does not match the size of the larger hose in the kit. I read someone else saying the larger hose provided was 5/16th inch, not 1/2 inch. I measured it with a multimeter and the size is actually 7/16th inch, which I found later is totally non-standard. I went to 2 stores for more connectors only to find that nothing in the typical stores had anything stepping down to 7/16th in hoses at all. I then ordered hose connectors on amazon, which looked like the hose connectors that worked in the kit. They did connect to the faucet, but they stepped down to 1/2in, so I was stuck again with no fitting hose since the kit contains the odd 7/16th in hose. I should have never bought this kit. Now that I know more about irrigation, it would have been much better to just buy the standard items at the store so that everything would match. I wish I could return the whole kit, but I've already cut and installed a portion of it. I am considering the $33 I paid for this a loss/learning lesson, and now I know I will need to buy standard options at the store. If I could just get a faucet to 7/16th inch step-down connector I could actually use the rest of my kit, but they aren't sold separately anywhere. Right now, I'd say about 80% of the kit is going unused because I don't have more faucet connectors of the correct 7/16th irrigation hose size. If all 4 connectors had been the correct size, it might have worked out, but 2 of them in the kit stepped down to the wrong size (1/2 in). I am realizing now that the sizes don't even seem to be shown anywhere in the listing. I took some measurements with a multimeter and it seems the OD of the large hose is 7/16ths??? and the OD of the smaller hose is 1/4 in. I just realized that I also have a bunch of freaking connectors for the 7/16th in hose, but the only hose that can be connected to my NEW connectors is 1/2in. Basically, not only do I have a bunch of non-standard hose now, but also a bunch of non-standard fitments that are going to take up space in my garage. What a waste of time. I have seen other users buy a 2nd kit just to get more faucet connectors, but I don't want to give these people any more of my money. It seems that they are hoping for buyers to be ignorant (i.e. wont list their sizes in the listing) so people will just buy more of the same *whole* kit when they really only need one type of part. They're also hoping people wont realize that the sizes in the kit are non-standard, so you cant go to the store to get more parts. The problem is that I cannot find the faucet > 7/16th in hose anywhere outside of this kit, so you HAVE TO buy a new whole kit just to get 2 more faucet attachments that should have come in the original kit anyways. If I could be given access to more working faucet attachments to buy separately, I may change this review, but as it stands...buyer beware! ... show more

After reading some of the reviews, I thought I'd have a terrible time getting this up and running. First and foremost, I have no idea of why people are saying that this does not connect to a garden hose. It does, and I did not even have to resort to the teflon thread wrap the company sent with the kit. Secondly, after reading a lot of reviews, I decided to invest around $11 in a pressure-regulating valve that takes line pressure down to 25PSI. Of course a line's going to blow if you try to take full garden hose (5/8") pressure and put it into a 5/16" hose and reduce that down to 5/32" leads to the sprinklers/misters. . This is what I got also from Amazon: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07CT87HL6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I did have two of the 5/16 hoses come off the barbed connnectors. I just put the ends back into the hot water and reattached them to the couplings. While the directions that came with the kit were not so great, the video on Amazon was easy to follow. I live in Colorado, a semi-arid state and I don't like wasting our precious water. This kit allows me to water just what needs watering. I have a veggie garden in fabric grow-pots. The downside of using fabric grow pots is the heat/evaporation loss through the sides of the pots. This drip system allows me to slowly add water to the plants to use when the system is on. I don't have to stand there with a hose, adding lots of water only to lose half of it to the evaporation from the pot sides. I bought another set for the front of the house. I have a lot of Fall bulbs on order. While the area is well-mulched, this is Colorado, and my soaker hose installation is wasting too much water. I can't wait for Spring to get my second system going. I really wish I'd had drip irrigation systems going years ago. The only downside is that one of the mister heads, and one of the sprinkler heads did not allow any water through. I'm going to try to clear them with a pin, but, hey, if 2 of 20 or 30 heads were bad, it's not that big of a deal. The kit provides plenty of watering options! I don't think anyone who loves their garden and hates standing endlessly with hose in hand would go wrong ordering this kit. It's a great price, and a wonderful time and water saver. ... show more
