  • finally a space saving espresso machine
I ordered this espresso machine mainly to create a more convenient at-home coffee setup without relying on café trips for espresso-based drinks. After using it for regular morning coffee and testing a variety of drinks, I think it offers a practical balance between functionality, ease of use, and countertop convenience for casual home espresso users. The first thing I noticed was the overall size and appearance. The machine has a compact enough footprint to fit comfortably on a standard kitchen counter without taking up excessive space. The design looks modern and clean, making it easy to blend into most kitchen setups without looking overly bulky or industrial. Depending on the kitchen layout, the compact design is definitely a benefit for smaller spaces or apartments. Setup was fairly straightforward. Basic assembly and initial rinsing did not take long, and the controls were simple enough to understand without constantly referencing the manual. Like most espresso machines, there is still a small learning curve involved when dialing in coffee grind size, tamping pressure, and shot timing, but the machine itself was relatively approachable for everyday use. In terms of brewing performance, the espresso produced a decent crema and flavor once the coffee settings were adjusted properly. The quality of the shot naturally depends heavily on the beans being used and the grind consistency, but the machine was capable of producing stronger and more concentrated coffee compared to regular drip brewing. For milk-based drinks like lattes and cappuccinos, the espresso base held up reasonably well without tasting overly weak. The steam or frothing functionality also worked adequately during testing. It produced enough foam for basic milk drinks, though achieving café-style microfoam may take some practice depending on experience level. For casual home users wanting cappuccinos or lattes, the frothing system gets the job done reasonably well. One thing I appreciated was the convenience factor. Being able to quickly make espresso drinks at home without large complicated equipment makes the machine practical for everyday use. Heating time was acceptable, and cleanup after brewing was fairly manageable with regular rinsing and maintenance. The build quality feels decent overall for a home espresso machine in this category. The housing is lightweight but still felt stable during operation. Buttons and controls responded properly, and the water reservoir was easy to remove and refill. It does not feel like a heavy commercial café machine, but it seems appropriate for standard household coffee use. There are a couple things worth mentioning. Like many home espresso machines, getting the best results requires some experimentation with grind size, coffee freshness, and extraction timing. Beginners expecting perfect café-quality espresso immediately may need some patience while learning the process. Also, the machine performs best when cleaned regularly to prevent buildup and maintain flavor quality. Noise levels during brewing and steaming were fairly typical for this type of appliance. It is noticeable while operating but not unusually loud compared to similar kitchen coffee equipment. Overall, this espresso machine provides a convenient and functional option for making espresso-based drinks at home. The compact design, approachable controls, and ability to prepare espresso, lattes, and cappuccinos make it well suited for everyday kitchen use. While it may not fully replace high-end professional café equipment, it performs well for casual home coffee enthusiasts looking to enjoy stronger coffee drinks without leaving the house. ... show more

  • Loving my morning latte’s
I have been looking for an all metal espresso machine for a while to make my preferred coffee drinks at home. This Milaroma machine checked all the boxes. It’s a mostly metal machine with a solid build quality. It’s small, takes up minimal space on my kitchen counter and easy to use. Definitely an improvement from the French press that I am currently using. I have a small kitchen with minimal counter space. This machine fits right under my kitchen cabinet and is more long than it is wide. That configuration is superior for me because I can fit my kitchen canisters next to it, and still have some work space in front of where it sits. I love the sleek, modern look of the machine. It’s not bulky or overwhelming, but pleasing to the eye-especially the handsome pressure gage on its face. The machine was simple for me to use, the directions were clear and easy to understand. I appreciate the simplicity of the 4 featured buttons-they each serve a single function and I am not confronted with too many decisions or a complex routine. I made a latte, straight out of the box with the use of the milk frother. It didn’t have the perfect consistency at first try, as I’m still trying to get a feel for the machine-quantity of coffee beans and preferred coffee grind granule size. But subsequent drinks have been better, and better, albeit outright good. I was able to adjust the strength of the espresso by adding more coffee beans and it created a strong brew. The machine is easy to clean and wipe down, and so far I have just been rinsing components with tap water. One feature I couldn’t find was a timer for a timed cup of coffee to be ready in the morning. However, for that feature more complex buttons and set up is typically necessary so I appreciate a paired down machine for simplicity’s sake. So far so good. This machine is holding up well to daily use, despite only using for about a week. I don’t notice any vulnerabilities or wear and tear. The machine still looks brand new and I am loving my morning latte’s. ... show more

  • Small Compact Design, Easy to Use and Clean, Great Gift Small Compact Design, Easy to Use and Clean, Great Gift
This review is for an Expresso machine. It’s easy to use, the water heats up quickly and brews within minutes. The steam wand foams up milk for lattes and cappuccinos, and you can use a shot or two and add hot water for a simple cup of American coffee. It’s a nice compact size and doesn’t take up too much real estate on the counter. I feel like this is a nice beginner coffee maker, it has a removable 40-ounce water tank, it’s easy to clean, and it’ll automatically shut off after 25 minutes. I like and recommend this machine and it’s nice to be able to make fancy coffee at home that doesn’t break the bank. ... show more

  • Strong Espresso Machine for Cuban Coffee
I ordered this espresso machine for a fun reason and wanted something that could make a good cup of Cuban coffee at home. It has a solid, polished look and gives the impression of a machine that is built to handle regular use. The pressure is strong, which is an important part of getting a richer espresso-style shot, and the controls look straightforward enough for everyday brewing. It feels like a practical choice for anyone who wants café-style coffee without making the process overly complicated. It also seems like a good fit for a kitchen or coffee setup because it has a clean design that does not take away from the counter space too much. The machine feels more refined than a basic starter model, and that makes it appealing for someone who wants something a little more serious without going all the way to a commercial setup. For drinks like Cuban coffee, that stronger pressure really matters, since it helps bring out the bold flavor and fuller texture that make the drink stand out. It is the kind of machine that can become part of a daily routine rather than just something used once in a while. One useful benefit is the great pressure, which helps produce a stronger extraction and makes it better suited for espresso-based drinks. A possible drawback is that the results depend a lot on using the right coffee grind, so someone who does not know how to grind for espresso may think the machine is the problem when the issue is really with the coffee preparation. ... show more

  • Perfect espresso every time, excellent milk frother
First espresso machine, and I have never used one before. I got it to replace my regular brewing coffee machine, and just to give you a heads up, it is not the same. Essentially, I had tasted coffee from a machine with a built-in grinder at my friend's place, and I bought the same beans that he uses and ground them using a regular coffee grinder. I don't think it works very well with an espresso machine because you need really fine ground coffee, so just keep that in mind. Having said that, the espresso machine works perfectly well. The coffee that it makes is really nice. It actually gives me the vibe of a good coffee place, with the perfect coffee smell and taste that I was looking for for a very long time. It uses pretty high pressure, and it does taste like that. The milk frother works really well too. It truly gives me a café feeling. I have never made two cups consecutively, so I can't comment on the back-to-back brewing experience, but for me, this coffee machine is working great so far. It looks really cute and takes much less space than some of the bulky espresso machines on the countertop, which is perfect for my small apartment. ... show more

  • Great for beginners like me
It might be unusual, but I’ll start with the instruction manual. It’s one of the best I’ve seen for such products. Compared to most others, it’s exceptional. It’s well-written, easy to understand, has descriptive pictures, and the print is large enough to read without a magnifying glass. The manual even has two pages that describe nine espresso variations and how to prepare them. I’m considered a senior citizen, and to say I’m an espresso novice is an understatement. I’ve never visited an establishment that specializes in espresso coffee, and I can count on one hand, the number of times I’ve even tasted an espresso. Thus, my review is intended for people somewhat like me, if there are any. The design and color of the machine blend well with my other kitchen appliances. It’s also compact. My counter space is limited, and the machine can be slid back under the overhead cabinets when not in use. I bought some dark roast coffee beans, having no idea whether I’d like the taste. Then I bought a coffee grinder. Without going into detail, the first attempts were, to say the least, disappointing. Subsequent attempts have been better. I must admit I was somewhat disappointed when I learned that this machine was not designed to use capsules. That feature would be useful for someone in a hurry and didn’t have time for cleaning up. Finally, if even I can figure out how to use it, this espresso machine is a good choice for beginners. ... show more

  • A Solid Budget-Friendly Starter Machine A Solid Budget-Friendly Starter Machine
This is a great looking espresso machine. At the current price, it’s a bargain for anyone wanting to skip the line at their local coffee shop. The slim profile is a major plus if you are working with limited counter space, and the overall operation isn’t too intimidating for a beginner. That said, there are some trade-offs to keep in mind: Build: The portafilter handle feels like a very hard plastic, which raises some questions about its long-term durability. The actual filter basket appears to be stainless steel, but the handle itself feels a bit budget-conscious. Pressure Gauge: The machine includes a pressure gauge, which is nice, but it lacks any clear information to help a first-time user understand what a good or bad extraction range actually is. Functionality: It works as intended for pulling shots, but I was hoping it would also dispense hot water. Given that it already has a water reservoir, it would have been convenient to have that feature for americanos or quick tea. Overall, this machine is a solid, approachable entry point for someone new to home espresso. It balances cost and functionality well, and as long as you aren’t looking for professional-grade materials or advanced features like a hot water tap, it gets the job done. ... show more

  • Makes Excellent Espresso, but It’s Quite Loud Makes Excellent Espresso, but It’s Quite Loud
This espresso and cappuccino machine is a great option for coffee lovers who want to make espresso at home. This is my first espresso machine. Before owning it, I mostly enjoyed espresso at coffee shops and, more recently, at friends’ houses. I have to admit, I was a little intimidated by the lengthy instruction manual at first. Since I usually want coffee before my brain fully wakes up in the morning, I wasn’t sure I was ready to learn a new machine! One morning, I finally decided to give it a try, and I’m glad I did. I made a double espresso and frothed some whole milk, and the result was delicious. The machine comes with both single- and double-shot filter baskets that fit into the portafilter, as well as a measuring scoop. For first-time users, I definitely recommend reading the instructions carefully. There are a few important steps that I would not have figured out on my own, such as releasing the pressure after each use before making another espresso. My biggest complaint is the noise. The machine is surprisingly loud while operating. The manual notes that this is normal for a new machine and that the noise should decrease over time, so I’m hoping that proves true. One other small thing I noticed is that the steam control knob does not line up perfectly with the “Off” marking when turned off. It doesn’t affect performance, but it was something I noticed. Overall, this is a very good espresso machine. It makes excellent espresso, froths milk well, and produces great-tasting drinks. If the noise level decreases with use as the manufacturer suggests, I’ll be even happier with it. ... show more
