These replaced some industrial, adjustable stools that had the welds keep breaking. These swivel, but don’t adjust. They are 26” from floor to top of seat. Seem sturdy. Easy assembly, only 12 washers/screws. Note: When putting on legs, just loosely hand-tighten screws so you can easily insert the foot ring. I had high hopes for these stools. I love the metal bottoms. However, the top left a lot to be desired. First, it absolutely did not look like real wood. Second, the color of the "wood" was not walnut. The sides, in fact, were a yellowish color. As already mentioned, they take a lot of effort to get them to swivel.
