For starters, the assembly was a breeze. All the hardware actually existed, and the allen wrench has a ball end (junk drawer keeper for sure!). I put two together in less than an hour. You really can't mess up. There are hardware inserts to receive the screws, so you can't put them in at the wrong angle. There were some reviews that said these were touch to put together but not at all! At one point you so want two people to hold down the cushion in place and the other to put the screws in. We have two kids and the hop up on them and they have been stable.

The seat is smaller round than I would like. I am not a big person but it makes me feel like I could fall off easily. I cannot get the chair to not rock. The way it is put together the legs are shorter on two sides, so rocks back and forth. I put pads under the two sides and that helps some, but still unstable. It swivels fairly easily when sitting, but not after you get off. The chair is a good height for high counters, and I'm so thankful for that I am keeping it. Pros: Full set of ball bearings, not the sparse kind with a plastic race to keep them spaced out. Nylon feet. Fit and finish A-. Cons: Nothing big, just little things. Small gap between parts in back. One hole not fully drilled. Washers are too big and need to be carefully positioned to be flush with top of seat base.     • Took a week and it broke!

I like the look of the stool. But when I was moving it across the floor it hit a snag and fell over. The leg broke and even with glueing it, the chair is no longer sturdy. It was difficult to assemble using the directions, it took 2 people to assemble.
