They are sturdy, swivel nicely and are true to advertised color. They did take some time to put together, but as long as you have some patience, you are good. They are on the low side for a counter stool and I was worried they'd be too low, but they worked out fine. Be sure to measure everything before ordering; counter height and the distant you want from your thighs to the counter when you are sitting. They are easy to wipe clean. ... show more

I'm VERY happy with these stools (2). The bad? Assembly was tedious and long and instruction booklet was TERRIBLE!! No text, just abbreviated pics that is missing certain specifics that if you do it wrong when you have a choice, it's a 50/50 chance it WILL be wrong. So then, you have to unassemble and start over (happened to us twice). But, the end result is lovely. Like being in labor - all is "forgotten" once baby is born. They really look professional and we had no damage to any of the parts, which were all there. Have only used them occasionally for two weeks so only time will tell if they will need tightening, as some have remarked. I would definitely order these again. Swivel is xln't, btw. Comfort is fine - two bigger people and seniors - certainly good enough for 2 or so hours of sitting. Wouldn't want to sit all day, however, as cushion isn't that padded and one would start to feel the hard bottom. And for MY kitchen, the color stain used matches my cabinets beautifully. ... show more

I planned on waiting a while longer before sharing a review. I found these stools easy to put together. You do need to pay attention to the instructions. I read through them 3 times before beginning. Other reviews were correct about the Allen Wrench. Fortunately my husband had his handy. So far they seem solid. Very pleased with the color and finish. So far they seem to be great quality. I can only surmise that some that said they felt rickety or had screws fall out did not tighten the screws all the way. They have lock tite on them (blue area) that gives some resistance as your tightening the screws in. This is what it's designed to do. You must ensure that you tightening the screws all the way in and yes, it takes a little effort. So far we are very pleased with our stools and would recommend them to anyone looking to purchase them. I feel they were a great value. If any issues develop I will update this review. ... show more

I have been looking for white bar height chairs for over a year. Happened to find these at a great price. First ordered 4. They are very sturdy, well made, great quality and easy to assemble. I did have a problem with one piece of one chair that was missing the nuts in 2 of 8 bolt holes in one of the rings. Obviously someone just forgot to install them at the factory. I emailed their customer service and showed them pics of the issue and my Amazon invoice. They didn’t send me a replace part, they sent me an entire new chair immediately! Outstanding customer service. They told me to dispose of leftover parts. I was so impressed by the quality, look and service that I ordered a fifth for our counter. They look amazing! ... show more
