Description

Gorilla Waterproof Patch & Seal Tape instantly seals out water, air and moisture. With an extra thick adhesive layer and UV resistant backing, this flexible tape conforms to form a permanent bond indoors and out. At 4 inches wide use it to patch holes, cracks, gaps and tears, even underwater. Excellent for Home, auto, marine, camping, RVs, outdoors and more. Will work on plastic, metal, aluminum, rubber, wood, vinyl, glass, steel, acrylic and much more. Gorilla Waterproof Patch & Seal Tape can be applied in hot, cold, wet and dry conditions. For best results, apply the tape to a clean surface at room temperature: 1. Keeping liner on tape, cut tape to desired size. Tape size should be larger than the repair area, extending beyond all edges. 2. Remove the release liner and place tape over desired repair area. Tape cannot be repositioned once applied. 3. Rub entire surface of the tape aggressively, especially the edges. STORAGE: Store tape on the top and bottom disc at room temperature. Edges of tape may be sticky. SERVICE TEMP: -70°F to 200°F. Performance will be dependent on surfaces & conditions. Surfaces must be clean, smooth and non-porous. Water must be pressed out from underneath tape. Not for use on seams, applications under pressure, or automotive applications under the hood. May not adhere to silicone or water-repellent materials. Do not use to hang. This stuff is amazing. I have an all-aluminum horse trailer - and the seam around the aluminum roof and aluminum sides was a 'caulk' that was peeling up - and was all sun baked. The most difficult part of this install was removing all the old caulking. Once removed I laid this tape down and it stuck. Believe me - this stuff sticks like crazy - make sure you lay it on carefully - because it will stick and its hard to pull back up once it sticks. My lines were not very straight on the top of the roof - but I had extra wide tape -so the seam still got completely covered - and I didn't care about perfect straight installs - because it is on a roof and out of site. Its seals immediately. I did this last fall -and it survived winter and sitting out in the sun up to this point - So far so good! ... show more

My awning was getting pin holes where it attaches to the camper which is a very common problem. I did a lot of research, as a lot of these type products are junk. Gorilla tape got good reviews along with only one or 2 other brands. I went with Gorilla as I use their duct tape exclusively and it's AMAZING. 4 stars because it only comes in 10" rolls and most awnings are much wider than that. It took 2.5 rolls to span my awning. The good news is this stuff is thick and very sticky. I put it on last summer and it still looks new. My camper sits outside 8 months out of the year, and we also use it in Colorado where the sun is brutal. ... show more

It takes 5 min just to open the package! Once you get it open it is very hard to get the plastic cover off. So once ya get the tape ready to go, be very careful cause if it touches anything it will not ever in a. million years come unstuck. I used it to waterproof my house on an island before a hurricane, and it worked great. But trying to take if off is a five year mission!!!! ... show more

This stuff is awesome. A bit pricey, but for uses you really need something reliable, it's worth it. I've used for some RV purposes and it's been great. Very durable outside, heat seems to make it better, it's very resistant to rain. A guy did a youtube comparing this to eternabond and some other brand, very scientific, applied on something that he set outside for one year, did resistent tests to see how much pretty to pull them off, and this one was the best. ... show more

We were recommended to use another name brand flex tape to help mend some tears on our inground pool liner to help extend it until a new liner could be installed, but this seemed like a more budget friendly option. We initially tried a “pool vinyl patch” kit, but the patches were so thin that they didn’t adhere all that well and seemed weak. I’m happy with this product. It is thick and very sticky. Even though the liner was dry, we still wiped the surface to remove any pollen or dirt and it stuck well. A very cost effective option to tide us over from a very expensive replacement. ... show more
