The seat cushions are indeed 6" thick however the back cushions are very flimsy and it does not support the back at all - feel like you are in a partial reclining position. Very uncomfortable!! I hired someone to assemble this for me while I was away wish I had been to to try one first, I would have returned!

Beautiful looking set, and very comfortable. Requires assembly, but puts together easily with included tools. We chose to go with Hillga because of the 6 inch seat cushions, and the full height seat backs, and are glad we did, because the comfort is everything we'd hoped for.

Bottom cushion is great but top back cushion is not. There’s a zipper where you can add pillow stuffing in the very bottom but the seam in the middle of the cushion keeps you from adding stuffing in the top half of the cushion. I had to buy lumbar and throw pillow to make the couch more comfortable.
