Good bike; it’s definitely worth the price, easy to assemble and durable. I had several bikes in the past and this is certainly the best and most comfortable one so far. Also, compared with my wife’s bike, which is a little less expensive but almost in the same price range, it definitely stands out. Great customer service: it comes with one year warranty. I had a problem with the right crank (I guess I had not fixed the pedal firmly so when biking the pressure on the pedal damaged the threads in the crank hole but I’m not sure if this really damaged the crank or it was something else) and they responded quickly and bought me a new crank set from Amazon. After almost two months, during which I have used my bike almost every day for couple of hours, I am happy with my purchase and recommend it.     • Buyer Beware - Single Disc Brake Bike garbage

Review 3: buyer beware. Do not buy from this company. You will regret it. You are buying a Walmart style bike. Very misleading advertising about disc brakes. Only the front is disc. The derailers are total trash. It’s so frustrating. I’ve spent as much trying to keep this bike going as I could have just bought a new bike at this point. Bike wouldn’t shift right from the beginning. Local store got it close but it barely drug. Now the derailer needs replaced. They are garbage. Save your money. You will get this same type of bike at Walmart. That is the quality. At least Walmart you can take it back. Firms are bent. One rim was bent from shipping but wasn’t too bad so we decided it was ok. It was a present. Worst transaction I’ve ever paid for. I will now be buying a new bike for my son. Review 2: Looks like they took down my original review. It was not good. We originally had problems with shipping. They messed up the derailer. When it was received the rear derailer was sticking out of the box and the front of the box was torn open. Leaving anything loose to fall out. It caused some issues that required having a bike technician make adjustments for shifting correctly. Now, i agree its hard to Blame HILAND for the way that the Courrier dropped it off (think it was UPS). But i would say they should be a little tighter packaged so this can't happen. At that point, I was a bit angry. I was very disappointed to learn it only had one disc brake. It was a Christmas present, we had no way to ride it due to the snow. One of the rims we thought was bent but ended up just being the tread not quite straight. This has black and white tread. I was able to get a bike technician to adjust the gears. HILAND reimbursed me for the costs. I will say on the PROS their customer service has been amazing id give 3 1/2 stars if i could. On the CONS I feel like I never would have purchased this bike had I known it only had one disc brake on the front. All our bikes are disc brakes on the front and back except this one. It works fine, but the touchy really fine braking is not there like real front and rear disc brakes. Overall I am happy with the purchase due to the cost. It fit the budget. But i would have spent a little more to get dual disc brakes. And I hope HILAND learns how to package these better for future bike purchasers. They are built well. This bike is like anything these days, half way done right. I added a new seat, ordered new pedals, wheels, and forks. The pedals are serviceable but will not hold up, the wheels are cheap and the front wheel is warped out of the box *can still ride it but not ideal*, The forks are meant for a different style bike but they used them anyhow I guess. The reason this got three stars is due to I knew what I was buying to a point before I bought it. I bought this with plans to upgrade it because they cut too many corners when making this bike. If you want a bike that's great out of the box, this is not it. If you want something to upgrade so far it seems like a viable option. I will update this review when I get my new parts. I may write customer service about the front wheel just to hold them accountable. ... show more

    • Excellent product for what I wanted
I bought this for a gravel bike to move the handlebar up and back for a more relaxed upright riding position. It was the least expensive one that I found but they all had similar descriptions and looked the same to me. It appears well made and worked great for what I was trying to achieve.

    • Good Bike and quality but some major flaws

The Bike and the quality is good. But there are several things to know before buying: 1). There is no front Brake, there is a brake thing near the handle but it doesn't connect anywhere near the front wheel. You have to buy a separate brake to attach to the front wheel and you have to drill holes and align it to the wheel yourself. CAUTION: please don't ride the bike without both the breaks working, If you ride the bike really fast or ride downhill you will not have control on it and you WILL FALL 2). if you want to pump air you have to buy a separate Extension nozzle because normal pumps won't fit the default nozzle that came with the bike. 3). the handle part tilts down when you are riding really fast, you have to buy a drill to really tighten it. Screw driver will not work 4). you need to buy a separate Star screw head to extend the side stand since by wear it will get loose and your bike will fall when you try to stand it. Overall this is a really good bike but there are some major flaws. Thats all I have for now if I notice something else I will Update on here ... show more
