It looks amazing! I bought the blue and silver. Adhesion on PEI is so-so but it'll work with some sort of adhesion promoter and 55C bed, which is 5C lower than I normally run PLA. I do not see any color change as advertised within a print of 208 grams/ 26.26 meters. I think the two colors just mix into one color which happens to be a beautiful metallic blue. Really the most metallic PLA I've ever seen. However, this is the most spongy and flexible filament I've ever used. I wouldn't even call it brittle but it's just squishy and spongy. Never seen anything like it. Probably the comparison to Styrofoam works best. So it has zero strength, breaks and compresses but prints very nicely and high detail. Still the sponginess is very unusual. It doesn't even feel like plastic... just foam. Almost forgot but I did up my infill to a number I've NEVER used before to give it some rigidity; 40%! I normally run 8-15% somewhere there. **EDIT: Apparently it's not supposed to be as described above. Seller offered to send me a new spool to try. Will update when tested. Good customer service so far! ***EDIT2: Tried the new spool and seller is correct and product looks and feels like normal PLA. Great product. Would recommend and buy again. ... show more

Bought this purely because of the colors and curiosity of the brand. It printed great, I'm not printing at super high speeds (around 150) and it printed great. Only "issue" is the colors repeat pretty quickly - I realize the normal complaint on transitioning filaments is they don't change that often, but since this is only two colors, they go back and forth rather quickly (as pictured) - just something to keep in mind. I printed a large articulated dragon, and it looked a little too stripey...but it printed great, and the colors pop! ... show more

    • Makes for some stately looking prints!
I'm printing some character masks for action figures for a friend. He recently mused about having shinier prints. I got this bronze filament, in addition to a couple of others that were on sale, and printed some character masks with the filaments. All three filaments performed equally well, and each produced excellent looking prints. This bronze filament produced particularly stately looking prints, making character masks look timeworn yet still functional. Again, no issues with any of the three filaments I bought here, including this one. I ran these filaments on my Flashforge Creator Pro, which has 0.4 mm nozzles and a tack build surface and my JG Aurora A5S, which has a 0.8 mm nozzle and a glass build surface. I had zero issues with adhesion and all the filaments have flowed very nicely. One nuance I noticed with these is that unlike other silk filaments I've used in the past, these filaments don't balloon up as much when you directly extrude them through a nozzle. I think this led to smoother flow rates and it shows on the prints. I'm really happy with this filament and the others I got. If I need more, I'll gladly order more. ... show more

I loved the colors and glitter but the surface of the items printed are rough and don't look clean. I'll try a different brand next time.

    • Great filament
I bought this to make some gifts that had a gold element. This is the most natural looking version of gold metallic filament and it's very easy to work with. The final print didn't require any post-processing or additional work.
