We got this chair because of the back support “pump” option. We thought this would be perfect so we could say goodbye to the gaming chair and pillow. Unfortunately, the “pump” doesn’t stay inflated. This is a nice chair, but the bulb to make the lumbar does not work. Once you start squeezing it the hose comes off. Have tried several times but just gave up. it is comfortable and the arms work well. Overall a nice chair unless you really need lumbar support. It's comfortable, I like that it rocks and that you can control when it does or doesn't rock. a little bit creaky though, and the instructions were good but not totally idiot proof (I found myself putting the back of the chair on backwards). This chair is really good for the back. I like the seat cause it does not have that feeling contour around the rear end it is just straight across. I like that the arm rest that moves up and down. Value was reasonable.

The chair is very easy to put it together. It took me less than 30 min. However, it came in a very big box. I can’t lift it myself, I rolled it. heavy. I am 6ft 3 and it supports my back but the length do not cover my head. You can lift the handle when you don’t need it but I don’t think there’s a time when we don’t need it. When you start looking into comfortable, well made desk chairs, you discover over $1000 is the starting point. I'd consider this if I could sit in the chair first, but since no one in my area has a good selection of Herman Miller, Steelcase, etc. I figured, might as well order an inexpensive chair and get a few years out of it. This chair has tunred out to be quite nice. It's comfortable and reasonably well padded. Mine did come with the inflatable lumbar support although I haven't played with it much so far. There are very few assembly steps. (1) Place the seat on the base, (2) attach side arms, (3) attach seat back, which is held in place by screws in the arms. This last step is tricky because it's difficult to position the back between the arms and make all the screw holes line up. But it's doable. Now that the chair is together, my only gripe is that height adjustment cylinder has to be rasied every time I sit in the chair. These cylinders are always the weakest part, but it's only been a week and I weigh 155 pounds. The cylinder does hold after adjustment until the next time I sit in the chair, so it isn't shot yet. All in all, it's great. I could buy almost 6 of these chairs for the cost of the superduper ergonomic chair my neighbor has. Obviously, if you can sit in a chair first, that's the way to go. But if you can't, why spend a fortune? ... show more
