It is a great-looking bike, and it might be very comfortable and handle awesome. I bet riding this bike up and down hills would be amazing with such a powerful motor. But unfortunately, I have had the bike for almost two months and have not been able to enjoy its greatness. The bike came with a battery/electrical problem of some sort. After numerous videos, emails, and pictures, they sent me a battery with the same issue. I contacted Heybike once again, and they said that the battery they sent was the wrong one and that another one would be out ASAP; well, 2weeks went by, and I got the next battery, which turned out to be for the Heybike ranger, not the Mars2.0 well now I'm waiting for the 3rd battery to see if this is the golden egg or if it's just another goose egg. Customer service has been ok to work with. Besides only getting 1email every 24 hours, it takes a long time to get anything done, so if I ever get to ride the thing, I'll update my review. Guess what? After some back and forth with a fantastic customer service rep, I'm back with an update. My battery issue has been resolved. Mandy at Heybike support worked with the engineers and warehouse staff to get everything tip-top. I read many reviews complaining about the support, but in reality, they are only the middlemen and women on the frontline trying to make it right. Be kind and patient; they will make it right, and you will be satisfied. Mandy went above and beyond to ensure that all my needs were met and more. So, on to the bike, this thing is amazingly comfortable and handles well. It was straightforward to assemble, and the ability to fold up and fit in the back seat of my Honda Accord blew my mind. I am so happy with this bike that I purchased the 1000-watt version with hydraulic brakes, and I sent the 750-watt bike to school with my son as a campus bike. Again, thank you, Mandy and the rest of your team, for your support and persistent work.

upon arrival battery was not fully charged (normal condition), assembly was easy, every single parts fit perfectly, Exception the front basket: the 2 screws on bottom/ lower side of the basket has very small clearance so hard to install the 2 screws, you need a straight allen wrench. The rear basket installation also pain you can tell its an aftermarket product. I will make some good brackets so its fits sturdy. If you cant fabricate your own brackets you are better off with the saddles. The manufacturer paid attention to most details weld-beads are looks nice and strong the bike turning heads in the park. I'm using it for goin fishing to local lakes therefor I have an extra 50-60lbs load, total of about 265lbs. Battery dropped form full to about 50% under 12.3 mile with one incline (overpass) I did not loose speed while crossing. Do not except max distance listed if you have similar loads. The motor is strong have to be careful on start bc it wants to do a wheele, acceleration is obviously good as well. With 210lbs load on full throttle it kept 19.8 miles/hr on flat road, have to say also fully loaded 265lb ish kept the 19.8mile/hr as well. I did not install the app as of yet. after a day of use I can not be happier.

The disc breaks are on the opposite side of the drive gears. The disc brake assembly is secured to the rear hub with 7 x M4vscrews. My son just came home after only having the bike for three weeks saying his breaks aren't working. The screws holding the disc break to the hub are gone. All of them sheered off and the disc can spin freely from the hub. I knew this bike would be a big pos and I tried to explain that to my son as he was using his own money, but I thought at the minimum it would be safe to ride. It isn't. A kid could be breaking only to loose his breaks completely and hit something, hard as these things fly. They go 35mph easy. Fyi, the tires are junk tires too. They are designed to look cool, but they are low quality tries even for off roading standards and they offer low traction.

The Mars 2.0 has exceeded my expectations. This e-bike is fast and very exciting to ride. I suggest a full face helmet while riding this bike at full speed. In the Heybike app settings, That’s where you unlock the top speed of 28mph. You can also shut the pedal assist limiter off and this thing takes off to 28 mph in no time because of the 80nm torque this bike has with no limit in the settings. Also if your advanced on e-bikes, You can press the + and - together and unlock the speed limit in the menu which is better than the app. You can crank past 28mph. At times I’ve almost peeked at 33mph throttle only. But if you want to limit the pedal assist with the throttle then you can have the throttle limiter on for each pedal assist level 1 thru 5 to the speed you want on each assist. I’m 5’7 and I can get on the bike no problem any shorter than 5’4 may be challenging getting on this bike. I suggest a step thru style fame like a Ranger or Ranger s to get on and off the bike easier. The bike is a lot bigger in person than the pictures. Climbing a 20% grade or higher on hills need pedal assistance. The throttle has a hard time climbing alone without assist. The bike horn is pretty loud and the headlight and backlight are fairly bright at night. The backlight flashes rapidly when braking so drivers can see as your coming to a stop. Battery life is pretty decent and lasts a while on throttle only. Pedaling of course the battery will last slightly longer. Don’t hesitate to buy. This bike is a blast.
