Top Amazon Reviews

  • Cheap pan experience, pro pan price
These would be decent pans at $20 each. But they cost many times that. There are many reviews saying that the pans are fine “if you follow the instructions”. This should be a red flag. But it doesn’t matter, because the instructions don’t fix the flaws with these pans. They bulge up in the middle when you heat them. The bigger one worse than the smaller one. This is better than them bulging downwards and rocking like a lot of cheap pans do, but they shouldn’t warp at all. The edge of the pan is RAW aluminum. Not even anodized, just the raw middle layer of the pan exposed all the way around. This sheds aluminum dust like if you rub foil against… anything. It’s never going to stop no matter how much you season the pan. It doesn’t happen because you didn’t follow the instructions. It happens because the manufacturer cheaped out and didn’t anodize the exposed aluminum. The stainless layers are super thin. So the edges of the pan are going to get banged up and dented. One of mine came that way from the factory. Slight, but clear that it is very easy to do. I do like the low rim form factor of the “griddle” pan. More pans should be like that. But the Lodge version is superior in every way for half the price. If you are going to spend this much money, do yourself a favor and get better pans! Or get way cheaper pans. Skip these. ... show more
