I just received this expandable water hose and of course I had to try it out with the sink to hose adapter which I also highly recommend. The hose is light and easy to maneuver. No kinks. It was important to me as I’m getting older and the regular water hose just doesn’t cut it for me anymore. Spend a bit more and do yourself a favor and get this hose. I included a quick video featuring the adapter with the hose. Which comes with the spray nozzle and a few other accessories like a wall mount and sone washers. I didn’t see any leaks and are hopeful it will last me a while.

Expandable hose was delivered on April 24, 2024 and today (5-7-2024) I was watering my plants on our porch when I noticed a huge bubble on the side of the hose. I am not sure how long it will last before the bubble bursts, but a hose should last longer than 13 days before it begins to have issues. I can't use a regular heavy hose, but I will not buy another hose that is covered only in this rubber substance. I am very careful how the hose is maintained and I do not abuse or am rough with this type of hose. It is very sad that products are offered to the public that cannot last even month. This was a complete waste of money I couldn't afford to lose. Shop for a different type of expandable hose. UPDATE: 5-7-2024 I now have 5 more bulges in the hose and they are all spread out. I have never been so frustrated with anything I have ordered from Amazon.

As a long-time, happy owner and user of the good old Craftsman Black Rubber hoses, I hadn't really wanted to try others. However, those hoses while strong and incredibly durable, are also a huge pain because they are really heavy. Makes reeling and putting them away a big annoyance after small tasks. As such, I had started to think about trying these these lightweight, expandable garden hose for a long time. Glad I did too. I really like how compact and lightweight these are and all so easy to pack up. The little bag that it comes with is a good idea thought putting away a wet hose in a bag isn't really smart. Certainly a good and more importantly inexpensive purchase.

I needed a nice rough pretty hose for my front garden. It needed to be mailable and easy to work with. This was perfect. Can maneuver nicely store away when finished. Thin but not overly. Easy to bend and pull. Comes with a sprayer which is nice and multiple washers. The only issue I had was some leakage when installing. I used many washers as it didn’t stop it. Not sure if it’s the hose or our spout. The size is correct so I’m unsure. We got it down to a small drip when the water is on. It’s a nice true black. I’m pretty gold tone brass fittings. Feels durable and nice. We have it tucked behind a bush so it’s not laying in the sun but I am unsure if this will heat quick due to the color. It’s a great hose with many functions on the spray. Easy to work with and a great length. I have had it installed for a month now and we will see come summer. We use it very often and that will be the test. Water pressure is great as well. Comes out perfect. Very light weight which is so important as well. Especially in a small space which makes me have to carry it at times. Update 5/12/24. After a few months the hose still works no issues there but the rubber coating has literally started to peel away from the hose. Almost throughout the whole hose. It looks like you took a lighter and burned holes through the hose. You can see what’s under the rubber. It hasn’t been hot and it’s not even summer yet. This hose definitely will not last the warmer months. It’s only a matter of time. I will post the pics of this. It’s creepy looking it like a pattern of holes throughout the rubber and you can see the white hose underneath. I’m so upset. Not even really a lot of use as it’s only been 70-80 for a month or two every two weeks or so. It’s sad. It great equality material. The hose and the idea was great but the rubber or what shkd be rubber is thin and eats away quick. The hose is even covered by the side of the house so it’s not even exposed to the elements like that. Very disappointed because come summer I’m going to need another hose again.

I did have an issue with the hose leaking after light use, (2 months old) and the seller quickly resolved this issue so I'm anxious to receive the replacement. It's so convenient to have a hose that stretches a long way, then you an quickly roll it up for storage on the hose reel.

This is a handy little bundle for light use.. no you aren't going to be able to use it like an actual garden hose... but it's PERFECT for watering plants on the deck. It shrinks up nicely to tuck behind a pot & is light weight. These get a lot of negative press for durability... one thing I have learned is you can extend the life on them by not leaving water in them... once you turn the water off, keep the sprayer on until is shrinks back up & no more water comes from the sprayer. Also.. because this is black... if you leave water in it... it can become scorching hot..
