The Hernia Belt for Men & Women, Abdominal Binder Post Surgery Support Belt has been an excellent purchase and has made a noticeable difference during my recovery. From the first time I put it on, I was impressed with how well it fit. The sizing was accurate, and the adjustable design made it easy to get a snug, supportive fit without feeling too tight or restrictive. One of the most important features for me was how well it provided support. After surgery, having consistent abdominal compression is essential, and this belt does a great job of holding everything securely in place while still allowing you to move comfortably. It gave me much more confidence when standing up, walking, or performing normal daily activities because I felt supported throughout the day. Another thing I really appreciated was the comfort. Unlike the basic binder I was sent home with after surgery, this support belt is much more comfortable to wear for extended periods. The material is soft enough that it doesn't irritate my skin, and it stays in place without constantly needing to be adjusted. Even when worn for an entire day, it never felt overly bulky or cumbersome. Overall, this is a significant upgrade over the standard abdominal binder typically provided after surgery. Excellent support belt for both pre-surgery and post-op hernia recovery. The 3D pressure pad stays firmly in place, distributes pressure evenly, and is comfortable enough for all-day wear. After trying several binders since my surgery (2021I had 4 ribs removed on my right side to remove 10x15cm tumor). I think this one is my favorite because it’s breathable and doesn’t try to roll up on the edges and provides a firmer support. Also the price is almost 10$ cheaper with better quality!

I ordered this for use when exercising. I have tried several different products. What I like about this: Lighter in weight, more "breathable," more comfortable, and less expensive than others, but just as (or more) effective. Something I really like, but don't see mentioned or pictured is that it has battens or stays (not sure what to call them) sewn in on each side, which keeps the top and bottom from rolling up or down when exercising (a problem I had with some other products when wearing them during workouts). What I don't like: The red and black "Parperna" logo in the product photo is not a cloth tag or screen print, it is a 2"x2" piece of rubber that sticks out and catches on clothing. Not only would a cloth or screen print tag be cheaper to manufacture and apply (I would think), it would be much better. What I'm not sure of yet: The Velcro fastener is smaller than on some other products I've used. On those, after using them daily for awhile, the Velcro surfaces became "slick" and no longer held. I'm thinking that could happen even sooner with this product -- but we'll see. ... show more

Excellent product. Does exactly what it is supposed to do. I bought the 2XL and I'm just under 300 pounds and it's certainly large enough for me to comfortably wear it. The Velcro is very secure and the separate internal pad is also very easy to put in place.

I had umbilical hernia surgery last week. I purchased this belt to help protect and support the surgical site. The belt provides the necessary pressure to keep my abdomen secure while providing support to the back I find the belt to be well made - the Velcro is strong and you can adjust the tightness of the belt. The belt is comfortable, light weight and breathable. It comes with 2 sturdy compression pads and looks smooth under clothing.
