To start out, we have to establish that these are only $50 at full price and around $40 if there is a $10 coupon available, so we have to compare them to other headphones in this budget price range. Of course these can’t be compared to $5k high def audiophile headphones. With that in mind, these are a very solid budget pair. The box and packaging feels premium, it reminds me of Sony headphones that I had. The headphones come with a short charging cable, a manual, and some stickers which is bare for accessories. So you don’t get a carrying case or a long cord for wired usage and have to provide your own if you prefer wired. The build quality on the headphones themselves is great. It doesn’t feel flimsy. The hinges are strong and the adjustable slide feels smooth. The ear cups are nice and soft. On the head they feel comfortable without too much pressure but are still secure if you’re moving about a lot and won’t slip off easily. For sound quality, I would say they aren’t the most highest quality you could get out there but they get the job done. They don’t get extremely loud, I use them at about 80-90% volume for music to be enjoyable. The lows aren’t that strong, the mids are clear, and highs are ok. Overall, I would say they are good for general usage but don’t expect mind blowing audiophile quality with clear high def listening. Pairing is super easy, just Bluetooth and it’s instantly working. Otherwise you can use it wired as well. I really like the active noise canceling. There are 3 modes, on, off, and pass through. A small flaw that I could look past is that there is noticeable delay between an action and the sound presenting itself. So there’s slight desyncing. You can tell when typing quickly and hearing the taps being a bit delayed as well as slightly behind audio on movies/videos. The battery life is great. I charge these maybe once every few weeks which I love. Overall, I’d recommend these for general wireless Bluetooth usage, ok audio quality, and good build and comfortable. ... show more

I was excited when I got these S33's delivered but I was a bit disappointed when I started putting things together. First, the material is pretty much plastic all over. The headband, the headphone extensions, the speaker backing, it's all pretty much plastic and feels light. Don't get me wrong, it gives the impression that it's supported, but it does "feel" plastic. That said, the headband is a bit snug in its sizing. Meaning that you have to extend the speakers out a bit - even if you have medium-size head - in order to ensure that you have some cushion in the fit. You need this cushion because the fitting is tight, and it will definitely squeeze on you if you don't relax the fit a bit. The button placement on the headset is ok; no concerns there. But let's talk about the sound. It's just ok. The ANC works is fair, but the frequencies are a bit confusing. You can hear the highs and mids ok, but the bass seems lacking. What's weird is that as I switch between the ANC Off, ANC On or transparency, I can hear the bass suddenly kick in when it's switching between modes, and then it disappears. I've never come across that. What I've typically noticed in ANC headphones is one of two things: 1) when the ANC is off, the bass is present and strong (if the headphones have good bass) and then it drops a bit when I turn on the ANC, or 2) the bass is present when ANC is OFF but also remains or strengthens a bit when I turn the ANC on. With the S33, the bass seems a bit muted across ALL of the modes but the fact that it seems to kick in - like an accident - when switching between the modes is just odd. That said, this would be a good headset for kids (consider the sizing) as the headphones won't have a bunch of thumping bass that would cause you concerns for hearing. ... show more

Appear to be very well constructed. Audio quality is great. Pairing is simple, covered in the instructions. Fit is comfortable . . . . sort of. The compression on the sides of my head is a bit much. They probably do that to ensure a better fit for noise suppression, but it is uncomfortable, to the point of painful. No real adjustment, except extending the ear pieces out of the head portion. Helps a little. I may end up having my wife try them, and see if they fit her better. ... show more
