Easy to install. Super stable. Fit my tub just right. I had the other kind with the two horseshoe-shaped clamps that kept loosening, the rubber pads would ease out, the bar would rock. It didn't feel safe or secure. This thing is rock solid! Love it!

I have a very hard to fit tub with rounded uneven sides emulating a spa. I was able to attach this bar to help those who need it to enter the tub. It never moves and is extremely sturdy even when a 200 pounder uses it. There is only one control knob and when that is secure the bar is fixed. In my tub all of the bar base sides are not perfectly flat; one side has a slight angle. Do not let this deter you as long as the knob is tight and the bar doesn't move. Periodically check the bar to make sure the knob is tight.
