En términos generales, es un buen radio. No es el mejor, pero es algo de esperarse debido a su precio. Tiene sus detalles. Lo primero, se demoró un poco en llegar (fuera de Estados Unidos tardó más de 2 semanas desde la compra). Sin embargo tiene todo lo que se anuncia (aunque los controles no traen las baterías). Al ser montado en el auto (lleva cierto trabajo y tiene su truco para que termine de encajar y quede recto en el espacio), funciona bien. El control para el volante, que muchos comentarios (de este radio y de otros, pero con el mismo control) anunciaban que no funcionaban o que había que apuntarlo directo al sensor, anda bastante bien. Sin embargo, en CarPlay no funciona (solo volumen y mute). Por lo anterior, se deduce que la función de CarPlay en efecto funciona. He tenido otros vehículos con radio de fábrica con esta sistema y comparándolos, este no tiene muchas diferencias. Todo anda prácticamente igual (obvio, va un poco más lento pero es un radio chino de bajo costo, se entiende). A veces se bloquea CarPlay o se cierra de la nada, pero cuando se desconecta el celular y se conecta de nuevo, funciona sin problema. Ah bueno, hay un error con Waze particularmente que a veces no lee el GPS pero puede ser la app, con cerrarla y volverla a abrir funciona. La pantalla es un poco pequeña, al tacto prolongado a veces es incómoda y por momentos se calienta. Puede ser molesto, pero si se manipula desde alguno de los controles puede solucionarse. Los botones y la perilla de volumen están bien y son bastante convenientes. Las demás funciones del radio, como la lectura de archivos multimedia por USB o SD, el Bluetooth y el radio, andan bien, No tienen nada novedoso pero cumplen. El micrófono externo que se puede conectar desde la parte trasera mejora mucho el sonido, vale la pena conectarlo e instalarlo, más allá de los cables. La cámara de reversa no la probé (usé la que ya tenía el carro instalada), sin embargo la imagen que muestra la pantalla de ella es regular (aunque esto puede ser por la cámara). Un detalle, a veces la pantalla parpadea muy levemente en CarPlay (es donde más uso el radio) cuando está en un modo intermedio de brillo de la pantalla. En cuanto al sonido, no tiene problema en sacar el provecho de los parlantes instalados y no hay distorsiones. En general, cumple, funciona, por el precio vale mucho la pena, pero su experiencia con él tiene que sopesarse con su costo, ya que tiene detalles que, aunque menores, están ahí. Actualización: algunas veces el radio se congela y toca reiniciarlo (sea apagando el auto y volviéndolo a encender o dejando el botón del volumen presionado hasta que se apague la pantalla, pero suele demorarse bastante), y sus errores a veces son más frecuentes (en un día que uses mucho el auto puede pasarte esto o que CarPlay se cierre hasta dos veces). No sé si esto será razón suficiente para apelar por garantía (en teoría si, pero al estar tan lejos para su reposición seguro se demoraría hasta casi un mes en llegar el reemplazo), pero es importante tener en cuenta este detalle para decidir sobre su compra. ... show more

    • Outstanding Radio with CarPlay
I got this head unit for my 2001 Toyota. Given the age of the car, I didn’t want to spend too much, but wanted Bluetooth and CarPlay functionality, as well as AM and FM radio. This unit checked all the boxes. The unit fits perfectly. The sound quality is better than the stock radio. The volume knob has a nice detent with one for each turn. The touch screen is very responsive and the icon layout is simple and functional. CarPlay was plug-and-play. Installation was easy with the use of a wiring harness adapter. Initially, I wasn’t planning on installing the backup camera, but since it was included, I took the time to install it as well. Running the wires for the camera took a little time, but overall wasn’t too difficult. ... show more

It came with no instructions, save the link because those pictures are your only instructions! I watched quite a few you tube videos and finally got it done. The unit seems to function as stated. Oh and the dash kit(ordered seperate) came to find out, the unit sits behind the kit.(Not around it!) Good luck! ... show more

Nice features and easy to use but the sound quality could be improved upon. The EQ settings do not really have a good range of sound. It does what you would expect for the money. Good purchase for a factory replacement but not the best pick for someone expecting sound quality of Pioneer, Alpine or Kenwood. ... show more

The mirror screen doesn’t work even if the screen does say download the app by scanning the QR Code. The screen freezes sometimes but I fix it by pressing the big clear button and it goes back to functioning normal. Overall, it’s apple play radio and it does what I need it to do by connecting my iPhone in it and it plays my music with an apple Home Screen. And GPS as well. it’s nothing compared to my other apple play radio that I payed more for. so If you are looking for a nice functional radio, I’d pay more for one rather than this. If you are looking for something that wants your basic necessities with some flaws here and there, then this radio is the way to go! ... show more

Bluetooth would fail to connect but all you have to do is forget the connection and turn phone off and on an it would connect again. Its good tho radio station sounds good too. Its my first radio ever installing so easy
