🏆 It's awesome to have a privacy screen this big for ⛱️🏖️ hot tub. It's literally non-see-through – zero and that is awesome. Excellent product .baught it for our deck and hot tub it is so nice being able to pull out for privacy when using the hot tub it is made very well and handles strong winds and even michigan winter weather and snow just keep the cover on it when not in use we have had ours for 1 year and no problems so far other than cover is faded and showing wear .hopefully I can get a replacement cover when it goes bad ... show more

I'll start by saying that I'm not using this as a vertical sun awning for shade. I found this product and thought it was a great solution to "block-off" our driveway. We have a narrow section of our driveway and I like to pull this barrier when the kids are playing outside. The main purpose for placing it there was to stop balls and toys and anything else from rolling down our driveway and into the street and it's done a great job of that so far. An added bonus is that it also serves as a visible barrier/reminder for the kids to go running out into the street. If they wanted to, they could easily open the screen but I feel that having to do that extra step serves as an additional reminder to look for cars. The build quality is solid, and it functions great. I haven't had any issues with pulling out or retracting the screen in the half dozen times I've used it so far. The screen pulls out nice and smooth and it very easy to lock into the post to secure it in the open position. While $190 may sound expensive, I think it's a decent value for your money if you need something like this. In my case, it was far cheaper than installing a permanent fence or gate. One thing I will note for the 4-stars is that as you pull the screen out, it can tend to get a bit unwieldly due to the length. I think I was lucky that there's not a lot of wind where I place mine but if you live in a windy area, take this into consideration, you're essentially stretching out a sail. Also as you pull out the screen further and further, the tension increases and it can be tough to hold if you're elderly or on the smaller side. For me, obviously I had to get my own hardware for mounting cause I adapted this to my needs but even the included mounting hardware didn't look the greatest. All in all, I'd still recommend this, especially if you're looking for a non-permanent, quick and affordable way to block off a driveway or a side of a house or anything really. ... show more

I missed the part where it said that this was only for concrete mounting, and had purchased it for making a privacy in the back yard. The product is absolutely wonderful, and anchored to concrete would be so nice. We will try mounting it to wood and see how it goes.
