Solid build. Flawless finish to all components All pieces clearly labeled. Reinforcess cross bar rails. I found the directions perfectly clear. There is jothing tricky about the install. I completed in 20 minutes after reading the 3 page sheet Ill update if something horrible happens. But these are rock solid I anticipate no problems. Maybe they updated thr instructions? I see reviews saying the directions were horrible. You do need the ability to read and follow them. But they are perfectly clear. Installed using torque wrench and i think it should be good to go

This rail has been great on our Toyota Highlander. It looks perfect and has not rusted. It was easy to fit a rack onto. Also, the customer service was awesome. They were promptly responsive when we needed replacement rail keys sent our way. Thank you!

Brother, if I could give this item a negative 5 star review I would! Let's break it down why YOU SHOULD NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! 1. The instructions are absolutely terrible. Pictures barely show what you need to do and the instructions are clearly very poorly translated from another language into English so the written components make very little sense as well. You need to be good at solving puzzles to figure this one out. 2. Build quality is awful. Removing the plastic covers requires you to nearly break them off and installing them back on is the same way. Many reviewers simply give up and leave the covers off after failing to find a way to get them back on after snapping them off. Most of the build is made of very cheap and brittle plastic, or very low quality aluminum. Very easy to strip or break parts even with very careful instillation. 3. MOST IMPORTANTLY! The bolts to anchor the crossbars to your car (you know, the most important part?) are made of some sort of... plastic / metal blend? These are little J shaped hooks that you need all 4 to securely connect to the loops on the top of your vehicle. The kit includes 5 of them and I can see why. While installing, I had 3 of the 5 break meaning that I literally could not attach the crossbars to my vehicle. Keep in mind that this was while very carefully installing the crossbars, I hadn't even started to tighten them in place yet! Many other reviewers pointed this out so I was very careful to not over torque any of them but 3 broke in half just from starting to thread them on. This is AWFULLY UNSAFE! This part should be made of quality metal as the entire build depends on these 4 J-Hook Anchors holding the crossbars on your vehicle. Instead, they are made of absurdly brittle plastic/metal. Imagine if I got lucky and got all 4 installed without breaking any of them? I can only imagine that a slightly heavy roof rack load or a slightly rough bump in the road would be all it takes to crack / break them. You want to get sued by the car driving behind you when your roof rack and crossbars break off on the free way and slam into the car behind you? Or better yet you want to accidentally gravely injure someone? If so then yeah get these crossbars! If you care about the items going on the roof of your vehicle or the humans in the cars that follow you on the road, probably look elsewhere. Personally I returned the garbage crossbars in this kit and reluctantly broke out the wallet for the official Toyota brand crossbars. Found out they are discounted online at least a little bit so that helped. They arrived 1 day later and were leagues better in every way than this product. Installation was painless and took maybe 30 min. The Toyota kit even included a torque wrench which was awesome in assuring that the crossbars were correctly tightened to spec. Whichever way you go, stay away from these crossbars! Terrible quality and horribly unsafe!

I was travelling and needed the bars for my 2023 Highlander Hybrid LE so ordered this product to the hotel. It arrived on time within a day which was really good. Installation was straightforward however I do have a complaint that the 13mm open end wrench that came with the package was an extemely poorly-made one that it does not even fit the 13mm nuts in this kit. It's just slightly smaller than the nuts that I believe I can hammer it onto the nuts but unfortunately since I was travelling I did not have access to a hammer. I used the wheel lug wrench that came with my car to hammer it and it barely worked for me that I had to hand hold the wrench to the nut to turn. Other than that the product was great.

Item exactly as described and high quality. No difficulty installing. Customer service was excellent as we had lost the keys during a move and needed to remove the rails temporarily. Contacted customer support and they sent replacement keys straight away and were very responsive. Definitely recommend doing business with this company!!

The fastening parts are plastic and die cast metal, two of which broke during installation, so be carful when tightening! See included photo. The quality of the proprietary fasteners included are questionable, and the plastic parts seem light weight, therefore the 3 stars. The seller responded immediately to my request for spare parts and sent them to me quickly - no charge, They are a 5 star! The instructions are unnecessary brief, so study them and note the following: The two cross bar are not the same length, the longer one goes in front. The 4 screws that fasten the bars to the 4 brackets should not be over tighten, they thread into a metal hex nut cast into a plastic holder, so if tightened too much the nut will pull out of the plastic holder and the bar cannot be held in place. This part is the weakest and most likely to break if not handled with care. When anchoring the brackets to the vehicle, again do not over tighten, tighten each all around until it feels secure. I will update my review if needed after I get it installed on the vehicle.

Not bad, price is great, install was easy and the instructions weren’t as bad as others make it out to be. You do need to torque the nuts down to 11ftlbs which isn’t in the instructions but other wise they fit nice and lock up nice. Only thing is mine didn’t come with the yellow safety cables.
