Every now and then I need grass shears to trim around delicate plants that my Dewalt string trimmer would easily destroy. I’ve been waiting for Dewalt to offer a 20V grass shears but could not wait any longer due to my arthritis becoming more serious lately. So I took a gamble on these two tools. The build quality is not up to Dewalt standards, which I expected. However, I must say I am pleased with the quality. The shears are great. They power through Zoisia easily and even work well pruning my ornamental shrubs. The leaf blower really drains batteries quickly and it is quite noisy. I think I’ll jury rig a diffuser to the inlet. And hope that helps to reduce the noise. All said, these two tools work as advertised and are a great value.

My neighbor recently removed an avocado tree that had grown over our shared fence. I was not happy it was so overgrown over the fence. I was going to prun it back with a chain saw. Before I could cut it back the neighbor removed the tree. He immediately planted another tree in its place. This tree is as tall as the fence, six foot. It has started growing through the gaps in the fence boards. I will use this trimmer to keep the tree on his property. At this time I have not used the trimmer. The blower has been used a few times and does a nice job. It has adjustable speed which is nice. My wife has used it to blow out her flower beds and the concrete patio in the back yard, now that it's not covered in fallen avocados and leaves. I have several Dewalt 20 volt power tools and batteries. These tools accept the Dewalt batteries which was a big reason I chose these. These are not Dewalt quality but they are by far not Dewalt prices. For the price and the use I plan on getting these are just fine. I love that I can use my Dewalt batteries. I would buy this set again just for the blower alone.

As others have indicated, the battery does not last very long with the blower. I have also used the hedge trimmer. I am fine with the product realizing its limitations. It gets small jobs done and that is what I wanted it for. I have a much larger and heavier blower and hedge trimmer that I use for big jobs. Considering the price and the two bonus items, I would recommend this product and I would purchase it again.

Size and weight were great, not overly awkward or heavy. The air flow of the blower is adjustable and sufficient for most needs. It is great to be able to just attach a battery and not have to deal with oil/fuel mixtures.. I use a 3rd party, DeWalt compatible battery and it has great battery life with that larger capacity battery and great power. You won't quickly tire while cleaning up leaves and other debris. The clippers are light and comfortable to hold and seen to do a good job so far. Great little pair to own if you have already bought into the DeWalt family.

Not very powerful. Would be okay with a pre broken up garden bed. It doesnt spin fast and you have to forcefully push down to cultivate any compacted dirt at all. I ran my sprinkler for 2 days prior to try and loosen it some. I used a 12ah forge battery and with semi compacted dirt dirt ltitle pressure it stalled multiple times. Pretty disappointed.

Works great for about 10 minutes. Then it slows down on a fully charged battery. Nice design just no duration. When it does work it has decent blow power enough to blow pine cones.
