The media could not be loaded. This was for my Daughter's 2017 Escape SE. First, I would like to say I found the product very simple to install it took me less than 30 minutes to put it in the car. The programming was a little bit different but Charn took all the guesswork and complicating coding out of it. They simply had me download a program onto my computer. They logged in. They did the coding, did the programming and it was done in like 5 to 10 minutes. When finished, it worked just as it did before she had the failed APIM. In addition, she got navigation which she didn't have before in her car, also the apple carplay and the Android auto work as it did before for about 1/3 of the cost that Ford Wanted to do the job in Kentucky. I highly recommend the product and the company and thank them for help with it. Just reach out to them if you have any concerns at all because I'm telling you it went smoothly efficiently and works perfect!     • Amazing service and great products
The product APIM that I bought was extremely easy to install into the truck. Everything seem to work perfectly. Then I had a small problem. People could hear me talking on the phone when I called them but I could not hear them or Siri. I sent a message to the seller and they responded very promptly and professionally. they sent me an adapter and information so they can hook to my computer in the truck remotely. They made a few adjustments to the programming and had everything working perfectly. I worked with a gentleman named Charn who is a very competent person and amazing at his job. I recommend this product and the people at this company. It is rare that you find people these days that truly care about their customers. The customer service for this was exceptional answered every question I had and support was there when I needed it. Thought it was the programming at first when it didn't work but found out that I had a bad ACM before installing this product. Very much enjoy the touchscreen and android auto. Plus with forscan I was able to customize it a little like shown in the photo. Also very easy to install and if you're not very mechanical inclined tech service is always there (or YouTube lol). ... show more

    • Not as simple as described
Before purchasing I provided seller with the VIN for my truck and it was confirmed that it works for my application. As soon as order is placed I contacted them and provide order number so unit can be programmed to my VIN. Unfortunately unit came not programmed but seller included an adapter for Forscan to program according to specific vehicle. Installation is very quick and simple. After discovering that unit is not programmed it become a pain. Borrowing laptop, obtain Forscan license and messing up with the truck computer. Small mistake can make you pay a lot to fix by pros. Couple of days after purchase I received instructions how to program it and I did. Works like a charm now. I wish seller keep their promise and program unit to specific VIN before sending it out. ... show more

    • Gen 3 unit, not Gen 4. Requires Programming so it fails out of the box.
The install is easy. Just be aware that the gps, xm, radio stations, clock, can't be used until you do custom programming. This model does not support Sirius XM radio. You need the Gen 4 model for that. There are others on here with Gen 4 in the title but this one doesn't say either way.

    • This is a fix and an upgrade
2016 F150. This is moderately easy to replace. My old Apim was going in and out when the truck was hot. This works really well and having sync 3.4 with Android Auto is an upgrade for me. I did have to buy a new USB port separately for the truck since my original ports weren't compatible with Android Auto. After the new install I noticed the buttons on the steering wheel and my front camera weren't accessible/working. The phone number given for the seller didn't work but they responded same day to a message on Amazon. They used my VIN to make programming steps for me. Google "Forscan" it's a free download and get the "extended license trial" also free and no payment info needed. Follow the directions. Now I have full functionality of my steering wheel buttons and cameras. Hope this helps! ... show more

I ordered and used the Amazon system to send my VIN# and other info to seller. I got back a quick thank you for the info, we will ship right away. I got item about a week earlier than system estimate. It installed easy! Watch a few videos on YouTube, you got this.
