Arrived with all bulbs "distorted" like they got melted. Used anyway and you can't tell when lights are lit. So far all light as expected and look beautiful so I will not return.

THese look to be a nice set of lights, we plan to use them when we complete our sauna trailer build where we won't always have access to electricity. I plan to update the review when we complete the project and are able to use them.

I had purchased 3 others from this seller 2 years ago and they are still reliable and work great. I needed more but the ones I originally purchased haven’t been available and we needed them, so I tried these. These work when they want and I’m not sure why because all of them are in the same area.

One of the things I don't like about these reviews is there are four different lights being reviewed here all mixed together. This review is for the 20-light, solar version. My lights came well packaged and were not tangled as some have reported. The plastic LED Edison-style bulbs are smaller than most that I have I seen, but this is a plus for me because I've always found the larger, brighter string lights to be annoying and rather distracting. These are the perfect brightness for adding ambient light to my backyard deck. The spacing on the bulbs is good, and the wiring used is strong and able to easily support the entire string of lights. The solar panel is compact (about the size of a kindle or iPad) and includes a stake for planting it in the ground. The stake fit is rather loose and I had to glue mine to the solar panel to keep it from pivoting. The solar panel incorporates a photo sensor that turns the lights on automatically at dusk, and off at dawn. But on a sad note, you'll never see them go out at dawn as the batteries don't have enough juice to power these lights all night. On a full day's charge (mostly sunny day) with the solar panel facing south for maximum sun exposure, I get about 4 hours of light from the string before it quickly fades out. It would be nice if I could get a little more time, and I wonder if upgrading the internal rechargeable batteries to something beefier might help. This is something I'll look into I'm sure. I have my lights set for steady ON, but there are actually 7 modes to choose from: Steady ON Blink Slow Blink Fast Double Blink Slow Fade Fast Fade Flicker (candle-like) I find the other modes rather annoying, but your mileage may vary, depending on what you're using these lights for. All in all I really like these lights and look forward to having them add their warm glow to my deck for the duration of the summer. I'm giving these 4 stars only because I'd like to get more lighting times out of them. If I could get 2 more hours of ON time from these lights, I'd have easily rated them 5 stars. [EDIT] Spring forward to Early May of 2024. I re-installed the lights on my deck over the weekend (took them down for the winter months) and they do still work, however it seems the battery has lost most of its original capacity. After a full day in the sun charging, the lights come on at dusk as usual, but only at full brightness for the first hour. Then on the subsequent hour, they slowly dim until they go out altogether. This suggests the battery needs replacing. I opened the charging panel and see the battery is easily replaced. Just have to solder two leads to the battery ends. However, there are no markings at all on the battery and it is not of any standard size. It would be really great if the manufacturer could include the battery specifications in the supplied instructions because the battery WILL need replacing at some point. I'm fairly disappointed that these otherwise perfectly good lights are now essentially useless as nighttime deck lighting and will prompt me to have to replace everything due to not being able to figure out what battery is used inside the charging housing. Buyers, you have been warned. . .

This was so easy to charge up and I loved how simple it was for me to put up. The length of the lights worked for the little patio area I have. What I liked is the clips that are on each lights. This helped to easily clip to the wire fencing I have. The brightness of the light is perfect to create a romantic atmosphere. With how dark my backyard is with minimal light noise, this strand looks like lights just hanging in the air.
