This ladder scares the piss out of me. It’s wobbly and bends at the locked joint. I don’t want it anymore. I chopped down a tree a few months ago and I prayed to Christ to keep me safe on it. While I do use my ladder in the step ladder style and I looked it a lot. The problem is when I use it as a extension ladder it seems weak and as a person who is scared of heights the last thing I want to do is be on a shaky ladder. So while it has its pluses it has its minuses.

Can’t adjust different levels, the non extended levels will open easily if you lean over and you will go down. They don’t lock at closed position. There’s no foot grip ridges on the other side of the steps for when you open to the full16. ft, only bottom half has grip at that point! It’s a good light duty ladder, but you must keep an extra eye on your balance. It came with a set of dents; I think are small enough that won’t effect the risk of collapsing while on it. ... show more

It’s good for setting up on steps—that’s about it. Anything else is better to use a normal ladder that opens up into “A” shape. The reason is that the ladder is narrow and the steps are not wide enough to balance your feet on the two highest steps. So you can’t really safely use the last two steps because your feet wobble and it hurts your feet if you stand on them for longer time. Only recommend this ladder if you need to reach something on a straight stairway and you are near a wall to catch yourself if you loose balance, AND you are experienced with working on ladders by trade. I am very experienced and it was tricky even for myself. That’s really the only useful thing for it. For other uses, there are safer options. ... show more

While fairly lightweight, this ladder is wobbly as a step ladder. Careful is the word of the day. Otherwise it's pretty easy to use and set up.

Heavy, bulky and horrible to move. I found myself dreading having to get it out to use because even walking it 5 feet and setting it up was a pain. Don't get this if you are a smaller person like me. It is sturdy, good ladder but only after a hard set up.
