We got this scooter over a year ago for my 89 y.o. motherinlaw Gwen. We had never purchased a scooter before so we went into this blindly. I reviewed many scooters and this scooter fit the bill. It looked nice and from what I read it should have the power to climb up our steep driveway. We built a little house for Gwen at the bottom of our driveway. It is a bit steep and we wanted to make sure the scooter we purchased would be able to make the climb. When the scooter arrived it was just as vibrant as it was in the pictures I reviewed. The roof is a nice addition so rain won't be an issue when Gwen wants to come over. We looked the scooter over thoroughly and everything looked great. Gwen got into the scooter and was really impressed with how comfortable it was. She started it up with no problem and effortlessly sped up our steep driveway . That little scooter has got some pep and it's very quiet too. It has plenty of storage and is very easy to drive. Gwen is a very active woman she has a little workshop on our property where she does very creative woodwork. She has a beautiful garden and she loves to cook. Since she has had this scooter she visits the neighbors. Every once in a while she zooms up the driveway for a visit. My husband built a ramp so she can drive up onto the deck and jump into the pool when its hot out. It's nice to see how much a little scooter can add to someone's life. This scooter is exactly what we wanted its good looking, powerful, quiet, and fits Gwen perfectly. The seat is comfortable, the roof keeps her dry and it is just the right size for Gwen to maneuver it easily. I would highly recommend this scooter to anyone. Love this scooter. I get so many compliments and questions! Have had it for 6 months. Customer service has been excellent. You need to register the scooter for warranty by writing to the email address in the instruction card. I did that and got immediate replies and live person help with charging question I had. I wondered about the wisdom of buying a product like this online with Amazon. I have no regrets! . Fits my needs perfectly for getting around town. It does require somebody with skill to put together the pieces such as the windshield and the roof. I’ve become more adept at handling and getting familiar with all the controls while driving. It is more than what I expected. I need the seat closer so I use a seat cushion behind my back so I don’t have to reach for the handles too much. The lights are amazingly bright and very effective in helping to see right in front of the scooter Driving on flat surfaces and an incline go very well. The challenges is at any kind of sideslant. Like an angle at a driveway doesn’t feel so stable. Otherwise I feel perfectly safe . Max speed has been 16 mph plenty fast enough and…, it’s fun and gets me where I’m going. ... show more

    • I like my scooter!
I like the speed of the scooter as well as the ease of going uphill. I don't like the turn radius but this scooter is larger than what I am used to. I also wish the seat would move further forward. At the maximum forward position I feel like I have to lean forward to reach the controls. But after all is said I enjoy using the scooter and I'm glad I purchased it. I hope in the future there will be fitted covers offered for use during rainy days and for when it is being transported. The battery holds well and the scooter seems to be well made. ... show more
