  • Super smooth ride…glides so easily
Color: Blue
This is all metal except for the standing board. It is a heavy scooter due to its being all metal but that’s what gives it the durable feel to it. It is super solid. It glides along with not much effort on your part. It took me just a minute or so to put the three screws on that holds the standing board onto the base. Please use caution though as this is spring loaded for opening the handle and pulling it away from the bottom base. My son and I weren’t expecting such a spring so when we pulled it to open and straighten the handle it snapped into position with such force that his thumb got stuck in the joint of the base and handle. He was screaming and panicking and I was panicking because I thought his thumb was broken so I was trying to close the handle back down as fast as I could. It was a bit scary. He ended up with just a bad bruise. Thank goodness…but we were panicking trying to get his thumb back out. So just be aware and keep all fingers away from the joints at the base. He had his hand away from it but the spring action caused his hand to jump. So just be aware. That’s all. My complaint about this scooter is that it is super sensitive to turning so you have to really keep your balance in order to hold it straight. It can easily be done as my son and I were able to do it but you can’t just stand on it and think you’ll go straight. It naturally wants to turn with any shift of weight so little ones may have a harder time with it. Anyone from 8 and up should be okay. That’s my opinion on what I saw and experienced. It just sort of grinds along when turning rather than being super quiet. It just was a different experience than the other ones we own from other companies not that it is a negative but just a very different experience. My 12 year old was really enjoying it after he got the hang of it a little bit after trying it out initially. ... show more

  • Good scooter and great value!
Color: Blue
This is a great scooter, which was super easy to assemble and it is really standing up to use by three of the kids. Our five-year-old wanted to skateboard in the worst way so we picked up the scooter instead, and he has never looked back. We are always trying to find ways to get the kids off the couch and this scooter has done the trick. We have had absolutely no problems with its quality and in my opinion, it’s a great value. ... show more

  • read this repair guide if you intend to buy
Color: Pink
It rubs on the back wheels against the frame. I believe they forgot two washers when they assembled. They aren't easy to line up but well worth it to actually have wheels spin free. You should make sure the screw goes all the way in the lock nut but not tight so that wheels don't spin easily. They won't spin on their own a while like the front ones, which looked like the could use slight tightening. Remember front needs to be a little loose to pivot. One front wheel wasn't engaging the locknut portion. it's the little blue plastic at the end that keeps the nut from backing out. Also the hardward is overkill for the plastic board but almost won't tighten to the lock part. The top steering bar goes on easier if you wiggle it with the tightener almost off. Also tap to smooth out the sharp corners on that part, as they shouldn't have made it stick out when tight. I bent this part in to make it flat which is easier when not shut. hope this helpx ... show more

  • Nice First Scooter
Color: Blue
My oldest grandson has a scooter just like this, and of course his younger brother is constantly trying to ride it, so I picked this up for him. It comes in a nice gift box; it requires a little assembly (instructions were pretty good) but that only took me about 5 minutes. It is surprisingly sturdy, and while I wish the deck were a little more robust, it should be able to take most of whatever my grandson can dish out. The three wheel design (two in front, one in back) gives the scooter good balance and is excellent for balance training. My 2-1/2 YO grandson can stand on it nicely without falling. The back wheel on this scooter is particularly interesting: it is a ‘double-wide’ design and gives the scooter much better balance that those with a single-wide wheel. I am not sure of how durable it will be; it is also a little small; if your child is bigger you may want to look at other options but for my 3 and 5 YO grandsons it is just right. This scooter is great for family walks, especially since it folds up easily and is light to carry when I inevitably wind up doing so, for whatever reason. This is a perfect first scooter for a 2-5 YO, but once my grandson gets to be 6 or so, or starts to do serious scootering, he will need a better one. You really can’t beat the price if you keep this in mind. ... show more

  • Scoot scooter
Color: Blue
This was great for a 2 yo. I thought it would have been for at least a 3 yr old but after seeing the size by a 2 yr old, it was fine. Now he can go up and down his sidewalk and expend his energy.

  • Great for teaching skateboarding not scooters
Color: Blue
This Scooters design is great to teach you child how to balance on a skate board but is not designed to teach how to use traditional scooters, I am also concerned with the quality and attachment method of the top plate as it's a pretty flimsy plastic and is not all that securely attached, I'm concerned it will fall off with time and cause my child to fall when she isn't expecting it. Seems poorly designed. ... show more
