This is all metal except for the standing board. It is a heavy scooter due to its being all metal but that’s what gives it the durable feel to it. It is super solid. It glides along with not much effort on your part. It took me just a minute or so to put the three screws on that holds the standing board onto the base. Please use caution though as this is spring loaded for opening the handle and pulling it away from the bottom base. My son and I weren’t expecting such a spring so when we pulled it to open and straighten the handle it snapped into position with such force that his thumb got stuck in the joint of the base and handle. He was screaming and panicking and I was panicking because I thought his thumb was broken so I was trying to close the handle back down as fast as I could. It was a bit scary. He ended up with just a bad bruise. Thank goodness…but we were panicking trying to get his thumb back out. So just be aware and keep all fingers away from the joints at the base. He had his hand away from it but the spring action caused his hand to jump. So just be aware. That’s all. My complaint about this scooter is that it is super sensitive to turning so you have to really keep your balance in order to hold it straight. It can easily be done as my son and I were able to do it but you can’t just stand on it and think you’ll go straight. It naturally wants to turn with any shift of weight so little ones may have a harder time with it. Anyone from 8 and up should be okay. That’s my opinion on what I saw and experienced. It just sort of grinds along when turning rather than being super quiet. It just was a different experience than the other ones we own from other companies not that it is a negative but just a very different experience. My 12 year old was really enjoying it after he got the hang of it a little bit after trying it out initially.

I recently got this scooter for my 10-year-old and have been overall pretty pleased with it. The design is both fun and practical, offering excellent stability with its 3-wheel setup—a perfect fit for a beginner. The adjustable handlebar makes it easy to tailor the scooter to a child's height as they grow (if you're purchasing it for a younger child), and the non-slip deck provides a reassuring grip during every ride. Setting up the scooter was a breeze, and the foldable design means it’s incredibly portable and easy to store when not in use. The solid construction feels durable, and the scooter is light enough to maneuver without much effort. The price of $29.99 feels like a great value given the features it offers. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that there have been a couple of moments where the scooter felt a bit wobbly on rough surfaces. However, overall, it’s held up well and provides a smooth, enjoyable ride for my child, turning outdoor playtime into hours of fun. This scooter would make a great gift too, as it’s not only safe but also a hit with the kids. If you’re looking for a cost-effective scooter that doesn’t compromise on stability or style, I’d definitely recommend giving this one a try

Cool concept, but quality it on the low side. The handles are cheaply made. The bottom frame is two pieces. The foot rest is held on by 2 bolts. But the bolts aren't long enough and don't engage the locking element in the lock nut. For a 3 year old to scoot around the house, it's fine. I wouldn't let my 8 year old take it down the hill though.

This is a pretty impressive little scooter. It is for the smallest of kids, not your older, more experience riders. The construction is plenty solid and it is easy to put together. Another reviewer said the nuts and bolts were too short to attach the deck, but that was not my experience. The front truck is solid and the two wheels are far enough apart to give this a lot of stability. The rear wheel has a good and effective brake. The handlebars are adjustable height with a button that pops through a hole and one of those kind of lever tighteners you see on a bicycle seat to hold the handlebar in the right place. A lot and tab keep it from rotating as well, so pretty secure overall. Steering is very intentional by leaning left or right and the handlebars stay straight but the way the truck is designed, the wheels turn left or right and will do so without having to have any particular speed, so little ones should catch on quickly and be able to use this with a minimum of difficulty. Definitely get your little one a helmet before putting them on anything with wheels.

The media could not be loaded. This is a pretty nice scooter. Definitely better for bigger kids. I would say this scooter wouldn’t be easy for the littler ones to figure out, because when you turn left to right, the handlebars and wheels turn with you, which I find pretty cool, but littler children wouldn’t be able to maneuver it well. My husband assembled the scooter within 10 minutes, so it was easy enough. The height is good for my 9 year old child. I love the color. I would say kids do need to be careful, safety wise, when going too quickly and turning the handlebars side to side, as it could be easy to lose control. But overall, it’s really hard to find good 3-wheel scooters for big kids, and I love that this scooter has a higher weight limit and is great for that. Love also that most of the parts are metal. Handlebar feels a little flimsy as far as material goes, but overall I rate this scooter four stars, and I do recommend it if looking for a good three-wheel scooter!

Maybe my kid is extra special, but this scooter did not work so well for my 5 year old. She had quite a bit of trouble staying on course with the tilt to steer. She already has mastered the standard scooter, turn the handle bar to steer, so maybe that knowledge got in the way of using this one properly. Otherwise its good. Definitely has a low weight limit. Its made from very thin tubing.
